Wish anyone knew in store release dates for Tartelette palette!! No one knows yet, though!
I received an email from Sephora that it is available now for VIB’s and VIB Rouge members…
I did too!
I saw it on Sephora’s website yesterday for the top 2 levels only. Idk why they do that. A perk? That type kinda bites because it’s unfair.
Even though I am VIB Rouge, everyone should have the same access to new products. Aren’t we all beauty junkies? Sephora/Ulta is our crack-ish.
Too gorgeous. I’m going to need it 🙁
I’m digging the colors in the palette. Can’t wait to see some swatches!
SO many new palettes coming out….what are your favs? This one, Semi Sweet, Interstellar?????
None of them are my personal favorites, sorry!
Interested to see how the blush and lipstick turn out. Is it just me, or does the packaging seem very “winter holidays”? It’s pretty, though!
I really wanted to love the tarte palette but those eyeshadow names make me want to run for the hills. Super mom? Caregiver? seriously. I love mattes but at least I’m saving my wallet here…
The intention was good with the naming, but the monikers really are pretty awful. At least the colors are nice. But there are other Tarte eye palettes that have better names. 🙂
Like tartelette means a promiscuous woman but all the shadow names are about moms? It’s a bit, odd? I’ve never tried tarte eyeshadows. Are they up to par with makeup forever artist shadows?
I’d say MUFE artist shadows, overall, are better quality, but also much more expensive. These are very good though, especially for mattes. Best friend is a bit patchy, the rest are excellent. I guess it depends on how many shades you want. If only a few but you’ll use them a lot, MUFE might be a better deal for you. If like me, and your matte collection is pathetic, this is more economical way to get lots of good ones at a better price.
If the matte lovers with more experience want to chime in, I’d appreciate any help giving advice. 🙂
The names are putting me off too. I think they’d be awesome if the palette was supposed to be inspired by mothers (Caregiver, Super Mom, Multitasker)! But since they cite that it’s inspired by women in general, it borders on tacky/offensive. Especially since a few of them (like Bombshell, Natural Beauty, etc) focus on physical attributes. It seems like a kind of dated list of names for the “Empowering” theme (not that it’s not powerful to be beautiful or a momma! Just not applicable to the power of ALL women)
I adore the Tartelette palette, although I’m not usually a huge matte lover. This helped fill in some gaps in my collection as far as mattes go. Best Friend is a bit patchy, but workable with primer.
The blush looks beautiful. I think I’ll be “needing” it.
I already own the Tartelette Palette and I love it! Will be skipping everything else in this collection, though.
Hehe ^_^ I’m partial to a Tarte palette, and this one looks pretty as usual, but I feel like calling the colours ‘never before seen’, especially in a Tarte matte palette, might be stretching the truth a little, LOL!
The blush and lipstick look pretty.
This is really beautiful, but I think the lip color is a bit light for me. Otherwise, it looks wonderful. I am only wearing matte eyeshadows now, so this is perfect. The It Cosmetics palette I just bought does not have the same kind of plum and mulberry, so I may be tempted to pick it up.
This is my favorite brand, but I think that palette is a miss. I don’t like the names and the colors. I own a lot of Tarte products and I am liking the blush! After all, I’ve completely used up Exposed and Blissful!
Another neutral palette – no, no, no.
Celebrated looks like I might need it.
This is such an attractive palette. Would love to see swatches!
Very nice palette. I’m curious about the quality, but in all honesty, I already own dupes to half the colors. If I didn’t already have a good range of mattes, I’d be all over this (despite my dislike of the palette format).
The names are … strange.
Although, now that I’ve said that, I remember that I set a task for myself to come up with an easy, basic, and versatile travel makeup kit, and that would solve the eyes part in one fell swoop. Hmmmmmmm.
