Zoya Bobbi Nail Lacquer
Zoya Bobbi Nail Lacquer ($8.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a “full-coverage, hot magenta pink foil metallic.” It’s a bright fuchsia pink with cool undertones and a foil finish. China Glaze 108 Degrees is less metallic/foil-like. China Glaze Endurance is darker, not as metallic. Essie Super Bossa Nova is bolder, brighter, and not metallic. Zoya Izzy is darker, less metallic. See comparison swatches here.
Zoya has such a fabulous metallic formula! Seriously, they’re so easy to apply and are very consistent overall in quality. Bobbi had opaque color coverage with two coats, and it dried down faster than the average polish and dried with a foiled sheen–some shine, but there’s a flatness to it that is just like tin foil. There were no visible brush strokes, and the consistency of the formula wasn’t too thick or too thin, so it applied fluidly and evenly without bubbling or pooling along the edges of the nail. I normally get a week of wear out of Zoya’s formula.
