Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator ($26.00) comes in two versions, Gilded Honey (gold) and Ballerina (rose gold), and both are fantastic, but I am partial to Ballerina myself. Whether you’re giving or receiving, a custom palette has that special touch of being personalized and you can give careful thought to the recipient when creating it. Laura Mercier Matte-to-Metal Caviar Stick Collection ($58.00) has become a set I look forward to each holiday season! The Caviar Sticks are creamy, jumbo eye pencils that can be used alone or as an eyeshadow base. They apply easily without tugging, last a long time on their own, and are shimmery enough to add depth but not too frosted. (Read reviews or see swatches.)

Clarins Fix’ Makeup Refreshing Mist ($27.00) is a setting spray that is supposed to refresh as well as prolong the wear of your makeup–and it does! This was a savior whenever I was out and about during the summer, and what I really liked about it was that it was also comfortable to wear and didn’t feel like I put anything on my face.

Origins Your Perfect World Set ($52.00) is a nice way to try out the Perfect World range, which is one of my go-tos. I’m a huge fan of Origins skincare, as I find it works well for my skin and doesn’t over-promise on claims. I’m actually half-way through my fourth or fifth A Perfect World SPF 25 jar! Bobbi Brown Luxe Lip Color ($35.00) is a new formula that Bobbi Brown launched this year that features a really creamy, rich consistency that applies smoothly and is quite pigmented. The shade range has some real hits, like Soft Berry and Neutral Rose. (Read reviews or see swatches.)

Philosophy Season of Sparkle Set ($27.00) includes three 6 oz. bottles of holiday scents. I’m a long-time fan of philosophy shower gels (they’re basically the only body wash I use!), and the holiday scents are typically my favorite. The best part? Lots and lots of scents of smaller sizes, which come in an easier-to-squeeze tube (softer plastic than the 16 oz. bottles) AND I can try more scents as it takes awhile to get through a full-size bottle.
