Hello Kitty Pop-Up Party Eyeshadow Palette ($52.00 for 0.70 oz.) includes twenty eyeshadows that range from beige to gold to blue to coral. I’ve tested about half of the palette, and obviously swatched through all the shades, and it’s a huge disappointment thus far as the shades are ridiculously powdery and crumbly and much of what I’ve tested thus far fades easily and doesn’t build up well. The formula for the majority of the eyeshadows is so powdery that some shades feel chalky and just… cheap. If it’s something on your list, I would bring out the big guns and use a slightly tacky, cream eyeshadow/base (like NYX Milk) and make sure to do eyes first, face makeup last.

Please let me know if you’re interested in a full, in-depth review, and I’ll put it on the list, but I’m thinking a quick review for this one will be in order! As much as I’d love to review every single holiday set/palette in full, based on many past holiday seasons, I know that’s not a possibility, so this year I’m working on getting out sneak peek swatches first, then writing up a full review or a quick/condensed review based on what readers are interested in seeing.
