I don’t even care for crackle much but I’m excited for these. I will definitely be picking up a few. They seem to crackle in a nice pattern too. I can’t wait to see what you think about them!

OoooOOOooooooo. I’m a bit burned by the last creamy ones though. The blue one (rock candy was it?) totally separated and DRIED OUT. I mean, sucker is less than 6 months old… WHAT?

I’m still not crazy about the crackle trend, but I really love the color combos you came up with! My favorite is the last one w/ the green and gold, the colors look very nice against each other πŸ™‚

I love these ! I had doubts at first but they are much more stylish than the OPI black. They are not nΓ©gligΓ© at all. I really love the way you combined the colours (particularly the green and the gold).

I didn’t jump on the crackle trend! I didn’t like it until my friend was wearing one of the new Sally Hansen ones. After that I bought the pink and black ones – and I’m still not crazy about it. I just think it’s fun once and a while for a change from rhinestones and decals. πŸ™‚

Heyy , Omg i love Chine Glaze Metal Crackle Glazes πŸ™‚ , Personally my favourite of your swatches was the China Glaze Oxidized Aqua Metal Crackle Glaze over Deborah Lippmann Lady Sings the Blues Nail Lacquer or the China Glaze Haute Metal Metal Crackle Glaze over Butter London Branwen’s Feather Nail Lacquer , i loved all of them but they were my favourite , i was thinking of starting a blog , let me know if its a good idea , Keep Up the hard work , Love Abby xx

Good thing there is a wide variety of shades for polish in general. Those 2 favs of yours were on my least fav list! But we all have our colors we are drawn to.

Funny – I just started to write a comment about how I could see some of these ‘going’ for football season to show team color support! I think it was the use of the British Racing Green with the gold that made me think of Notre Dame and my mind went spinning from there. Glad someone besides me was thinking that!

You gotta… I am a saints fan and my boyfriend is a cowboys fan… and we trade off…. blue and silver and black and gold….and I hate gold but i definitely wouldn’t mind doing this on my nails anytime πŸ™‚

Your color combos are so creative and awesome! I may just pick one up, these seem to crackle nicer than any of the others I’ve seen. Thanks for posting πŸ™‚

The gold that you used over the green – which one is this: Cracked Medallion or Tarnished Gold? The description on both the pictures doesn’t state… These look great! I’m going to see if I can find them here in the UK. I have a silvery-gold one by 17 already, and the original Barry M black one but these look much nicer!

The easiest place to find China Glaze over here (in the UK) is Sally’s Hair and Beauty Supplies; there’s one in most big towns. You can buy as a member of the public, but with a pro card they’re VAT free (therefore 20% cheaper!).

The one over the British Racing Green is the Tarnished Gold. Crackled Medallion is more coppery and is shown over an orangery shade in the first photo swatch.

Wow…I’m sitting here in shock..normally I’m racing TO get nailpolishes..went CRAZY during the Bring it Back voting this past weekend with Rescue Beauty Lounge voting (and totally elated that the 4 I really wanted are “coming back!”)…and honestly, was looking forward to seeing these…I’ll be running but AWAY from these…the Platinum is pretty, but all I can think of is CHRISTINE..YOU ARE COVERING SOME PRETTY HIGH END NAIL POLISHES (Butter, Lippmann). Maybe with some cheapo polish…like Wet n Wild..might be “worth it”….why cover up a 14.00 to 21.00 nail polish? Not for me..again maybe platinum..but I won’t be killing myself to run over to Sally’s Beauty anytime soon….Sorry!

Some time this month (July) least in the US that is…Sally’s will have them but cannot verify release/stocking date beyond sometime this month.

I bought this past weekend a couple of these nail polishes. They are NOT the metallic ones, they are the regular color and let me tell you that they DO NOT work, I was very very dispointed w/the outcome of these items :o(

I have all the other ones too (the cream ones) and they crackled for me as well. But they are a little tricky to work with. My blue has seperated in the bottle already too (like someone else mentioned) and I haven’t even used it yet! I wouldn’t recommend any of those, but heard these are improved formula and they look much nicer! How would you compare these to the last batch Christine?

They can be tricky to apply and get a good crack on them. Your base coat has to be completely dry – works best seems over creams, but I have seen some amazing mani swatches done over glitters with the cream crackles. Important not to get too heavy handed in your app of the crackle. And IMHO, I only think they look half way OK if they are finished off with 2 good clear top coats…that helps get rid of the looking like the car ran over your mani look.

Other than the Haute, Lilac & Aqua, I actually will be picking these other metallic crackles up when they come out. My professed, I am over the crackles 7 like from other lines – I find I do like some of them but only if they are done over a glitter base that peeks through, or in this case the reverse. Something about seeing some of the metallic or a glitter/metallic coming into the mix makes this craze of crackles/shatters back in good graces with me. I have to add the caveat that they be done well, not too thick of app. and then followed up with a good glossy top coat for shine. But that’s just me and the way I like these done.

Anyone done these on pedis? I tend to always see swatches of course on fingers. Since I do my toes more than manis, just wondering.
