The formula is supposed to have “luminous, light-reflecting pigments” for a “skin perfecting effect” while being “infused with 100% Argan oil.” It had semi-opaque color payoff that was buildable to full color coverage with a soft, smooth texture that was slightly powdery (I could definitely tell talc was the first ingredient). Nevertheless, it sat well on the skin and looked natural without being too matte or too shimmery. It didn’t look powdery, and the blush itself blended easily when I used it. On my skin, it lasted for seven hours before fading. The powder is heavily fragranced; it has a spicy, perfume-y scent, and the scent lingers and lingers all day long. If you’re sensitive to scents, I would stay away, and if you don’t want to smell your face all day, I’d also stay away. It’s not subtle, and I can see the scent being a deal-breaker. The compact also contains a brush stored underneath the pan of blush. The brush was scratchy and shed everywhere, and it did make the compact more cumbersome by having that additional layer for it.
