OCC Lament Lip Tar ($18.00 for 0.33 fl. oz.) is described as a “neutral rose beige.” It’s a light-medium, muted orange–not quite peach, not quite true orange, and it’s not as bright as you might expected. The consistency was thin but not watery, easy to spread but didn’t feather or bleed along the edge of the natural lip line, and it felt like most Lip Tars do (and I only note this since two of the six fall shades were a little runny). It had excellent color payoff that yielded full color coverage with little product, and the color itself stayed on well for almost six hours before starting to break down. It was neither drying nor hydrating on me, and it didn’t feel clingy, so it was pretty comfortable to wear.
