NARS Valhalla Eyeshadow ($25.00 for 0.07 oz.) is described as a “soft shimmering pink peach.” It’s a pop of golden peach with a frosted sheen. It doesn’t read very pink against my skin tone, but it might if you have stronger pink undertones (though even in the pan, it seems more peach thank pink). Marc Jacobs Beauty The Enigma #7 (P) is darker. Tarte Rose Champagne (LE) is similar. bareMinerals Ball Gown (V2) (P) is yellower. Even though most of are likely swimming in a sea of neutrals, there’s always room for a good-performing one–especially one that’s permanent. I can see this being a go-to for some, and certainly a shade that others have half a dozen near-dupes for, too. The consistency was soft, finely-milled, and buttery with a slightly denser texture than the average NARS’ eyeshadow, though not as thick or as dense as something like the Kauai duo. It was easy to blend on the skin, and it applied well to bare skin. It only lasted for seven hours before creasing on me, which was really its only downfall.
