NARS Navagio Beach Sheer Pop Multiple ($39.00 for 0.50 oz.) is a medium gold with warm undertones and a subtle, pearl sheen. It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation with a smooth, lightly emollient texture that glided across bare skin exceptionally well.

The new, limited edition formula is supposed to be a “buildable formula that delivers sheer, high-impact color on lips and cheeks,” and it’s also said another way: “pairs vivid color with a weightless touch,” which seems to suggest that the “sheer” quality is more with respect to the feel of the product than the coverage. That being said, the coverage seems to be “buildable” but still “vivid.” On my skin tone, this color worked more as a highlighter than a blush, but on very fair skin tones, it may also add subtle warmth. It applied best and easiest over bare skin but was workable over a liquid/cream product; I would avoid using it over powder as it tended to cause splotchiness. As a cheek color, it lasted for seven and a half hours, and as a lip product, it lasted for two and a half hours and was non-drying.
