NARS Libertango Nail Polish ($19.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as “geranium.” It’s a brightened, medium-dark orange with warm, red undertones and a cream-jelly finish and a high-gloss shine. Dior Trafalgar (657) (P, $24.00) is redder. Cult Nails Ay Poppy (DC, $12.00) is lighter. NARS Lal Mirchi (LE, $19.00) is very similar, just not as glossy on its own. MAC Oriele Orange (LE, $16.00) is less warm-toned. MAC Kid Orange (P, $16.00) is redder. MAC Ablaze (LE, $16.00) is also redder. Guerlain Nahema (P, $23.00) is redder. It’s a new and limited edition shade with the summer collection. Libertango was richly pigmented and yielded full color coverage in two coats. The texture wasn’t too thick or too thin, so it flowed well across the nail and didn’t pool along the edges. It was easy to apply, and it dried down slightly faster than average and had a glossy shine without a top coat. I typically get a full week of wear with no chipping and very minor tip wear with NARS’ formula.
