The formula is described as "highly pigmented," "long-lasting," and having a "radiant finish." Most shades were pigmented and were mostly opaque to opaque, while they could easily be sheered out if desired (for more of a one-and-done kind of look all over the lid). Some shades had more of a satin-to-pearl finish while others had more noticeable sparkle or were more metallic.

The texture was lightweight, like a lightly tacky mousse with some bounce to it. I liked applying these with synthetic brush if I wanted more opaque and precise coverage, as I felt like fingertips sometimes over-applied or did not get quite as even of an application, especially with the darker hues. The brand did note that the "best color payoff" was achieved by using brushes.

These cream eyeshadows were creamy without being particularly wet or overly emollient, so they had a more powder-like application after about 10-15 seconds. They did not have a full-on dry down, so they remained lightly blendable along the edges after they "set."
