The new Le Marc Lip Creme formula is supposed to be a “rich, velvety, ultra-hydrating lipstick” with “vivid pigment” and “10-hour” wear. Sometimes I wonder how many people actually test a product before a brand makes a claim like long-wearing, because 10 hours is a very long time, so I’m genuinely curious how many people test and report back with such-and-such wear time before a brand makes a claim. It is a deeper, richer hue, which tend to last longer than a much lighter shade would, period, but it only lasted six hours for me. Blow is semi-opaque with a noticeable translucency where the natural lip color will come through. The formula is lightweight, lightly creamy, and glides on without tugging on the lips, though there is some unevenness. It was comfortable initially, but I found the formula to be lightly drying over time. The formula has a very, very subtle sweet floral scent, but I could barely detect it in the tube.
