I would totally go in for one or both of those except…I already have S642 and ME108 from the first and I already have I662 in the second.
Still, if those are full size and that is their regular 4 pan/Small palette, that is a great deal!
I’m hoping so hard that they are–that really IS a great deal. =O
Ooh, I don’t know if we get these in the UK but I’m very tempted as I wanted half the shades as singles in the first place
Kind of disappointing that palettes with the name “Be bold. Be unexpected” in the title are so…neutral and expected. I do like that there is one that is cooler tone and one that is warmer, but I also think the textures should have been mixed up more to make them more versatile.
The biggest plus I see in these it’s essentially a buy 3 get 1 free price, which is nice if you don’t have them in your collection.
Oh my gosh I want them both!! I love that bit of gray mixed in with all the warmth in the first one.
I noticed Sephora has the palettes mixed up on their site, when you click on Andreja is shows Jamie’s palette and vice versa…I hope they fix it shortly. These are gorgeous.
I already have two out of four in Andreja’s palette thought and I like the colors in Jamie’s palette more and with matte, satin, shimmer, metallic in one palette is a goody in my book 🙂
I’m expecting these will be full size pans?
Cool collabs, but I’m not particularly inspired by these colour combos…
Ooooh. That Andreja Pejic palette might have to be mine. Maybe.
(The tagline is kinda funny and Zoolanderesque, to me, though. “Be bold! Be you! Just like everybody else!” Heh.)
D320 is stunning! I need to seriously consider getting the Jamie Chung Artist since those colors are amazing and could create some really dynamic looks!
I hope MUFE puts out more of these quads! I would be all over a matte / satin one 🙂
Are these sold out already? On the site it says they are! I’m bummed I really want the 2nd one!
They’re still coming soon – they went up yesterday, and I reached out to get a press release (so I could get the shades included) and it said the 16th for the launch! Sephora has been “pre-loading” new items so they’ll have the listing up but it’ll be coming soon/out of stock.
Christine, do you know if these are the smaller pans (as in the Nudes You Need palette) or the larger ones, as sold individually? If I have one complaint about the new MUFE shadows, it’s that they are TOO LARGE for personal users. I can see that they’d be great for makeup artists but for me, a smaller pan (and corresponding smaller price tag) would be so much better.
I have no idea, but they list the value at $96, they should be since $21 x 4 = $84… though how the case is worth $12 is a stretch.
I believe a standard shadow size is .07oz and the site says that the palette is 4x .08oz. Could they be larger? That would be awesome.
The regular ones are 0.08 oz. — Sephora’s information is wrong for the individual Artist Shadows!
So be bold, be unexpected translates into neutrals essentially? Hmmm. I like both, but I don’t know if I need them
Well, that’s that. .I will be getting the Chung palette. Those colors are really unique and beautifully put together. Perfect for fall!
I already have 2 shadows from the first kit (Golden Khaki & Steel) and the 2nd kit is another fifty thousand shades of brown. While the colors are nice, the color combos don’t look that “bold or unexpected” to me. Plus you don’t save all that much money by buying this kit vs. making your own. With this kit, it’s $14 a shadow ( $48/4) . But if you create your own, it’s about $14.70 a shadow ( 3 shadows x $21 = $ 63 – $20 Sephora discount = $43 + $1 for case = $44/ 3 ), so you are only saving about $ 2.70 Total by buying this kit. For that small price difference, I would rather just pick my own “bold and unexpected” colors.
Am I the only one who sees a higher price for Pejic’s palette vs Chung’s one? Almost $40 higher.
I checked the post, and it says $48 for each, and then Sephora’s site says $48 for each?
I’m on the fence on these. I usually jump on every MUFE palette as I adore these shadows. But, essentially with the Sephora discount after adding the trio compact, you pay $43 for 3 shadows. So, here you are paying $5 for the fourth. A steal if you don’t have any of the shadows. My dilemma- I have 1 of the shadows contained in each quad! figures. So, really, I would be buying a $5 backup and I really have not dented a single MUFE shadow.I have so many neutrals-likely dupes. I was hoping for some colors when I saw the names. The Nordstrom sale has not been kind to my wallet. I need to think on this. I may be better off scooping up some colors when I can. I wish mufe would do a fill-your own sale..that would be so grand!
Christine, have you looked at the photos Sephora has up compared to yours? The names on the compacts appear to be reversed to my eyes. Are they or am I officially stir crazy?
They’re reversed on Sephora, but if you notice the names on the compact, Sephora’s images are the same (the photos of the signatures line up I believe!), but they’re listed wrong by shade (on the little squares).
Yep,that’s right. Sephora has the labels wrong. Whew..glad I’m not COMPLETELY losing it. Thanks for clarifying.:)
oooh these look so pretty!!!!
Love MUFE and the colors. I will probabbly pass because I have similar colors and two drawers full of shadows.
Both of these quads are beautiful…
I just don’t understand why there are TWO repeats from the “Nudes You Need” palette in the Andreja Pejic palette…kind of a bummer to me
I just noticed that! OMG and it’s pretty boring with the 2 Brown’s that are almost the same. I would definitely be pulling other shades to go with that quad.
The Be Bold palette looks fabulous with colours I love – the Khaki and the Steel. Knowing MUFE it is sure to be good. Can’t wait for the reviews.
Ok, these are “neutral” quads I can get behind if the pan sizes are decent. I’m hoping they’re the regular size. Then I could pop some out if I want and mix and match with my brighter shades. That would be so great.
Agree that neither is “bold & unexpected”, but that said, I really like the Chung palette. Appreciate a matte base color and think the inclusion of grey makes it a bit more interesting.
The Jamie Chung one looks very interesting and not too common of a combo either! But I think I will just put my own two trios together as planned, because there are just some shades I’m dying to get my paws on. Neither of these quads have even one shade from my (long) MUFE wishlist.
This time I’ll be smart and wait for your review before jumping into these hahaha!
Well, I’ve been wanting to pick up some MUFE shadows and the brand appeals even more now–I’ll be picking up Andreja’s palette for sure.
The Andreja Pejić palette is totally calling to me…
I’m definitely getting both of these. I only have one dupe in each and I do want the other ones.
I loved it the first palette (it looks like the duo of Julia Petit, the Morganite). I need!!
