“Oxblood Light peachy nude (Matte)” MAC PLEASE STOP NAMING TOTALLY DIFFERENT COLORS AFTER OTHER COLORS. That said, this collection looks fun! If it performs well, I’ll definitely have to get my hands on a few pieces.

I’m not usually a MAC person, but OMG, the purple palette and the lipsticks. I want them all. I hope the purple palette comes through this time. I love the packaging.

nancy Avatar

is it out the 19th or the 29th? i saw a few posts that say the 29th but you posted that its online the 19th which is today and if its today i don’t wanna miss it!!!

Celia Avatar

Oh, Christine, honey! No, you are so not an idiot! I know how stressful it is to make these mistakes but you are brilliant and considering your work output/hours/word count the fact that you were one number off the keyboard is no big. <3 You corrected very quickly and apologized. That's more professional in my eyes than never making an error.

nancy Avatar

no worries!!! i bet it can become hectic with all your reviews and posts!! don’t even stress about a wrong date! thank you for everything else. you are truly amazing! my favorite blogger of all time!

I don’t get why they named a nude Oxblood…
Victoriana sounds like a shade I might be interested in, and those blushes are all three stunning but who needs more blushes?

MakeupTray Avatar

Eyeliners and Mascaras are pretty. Two of the e/s palettes look like a reworked,,MacThe Simpsons.
Blushes are reissues. This packaging is cute.

Nicole Avatar

This looks really cool. I like the packaging, the blush, and the colors look awesome. Now this is spring! The blush and eye palettes look so fun!! Even the brush and case, lip glasses, lipsticks, liners! Hope to see some reviews on this!

I had to Google who these people are. Some of this stuff, like the blushes and the blue shadow pallet, look really neat. However, I’ve given up on LE MAC. The only stuff I could possibly get my hands on are the dregs, nothing I actually want. Tbh I’m a little happy when they preform bad because them I’m not missing out.

Also, am I the only one who thinks near black red when they hear oxblood?

Bunga Avatar

I want all the blushes! And Moodyblu. Sorry Bellgreens, the blues stand out more <3

While the lipstick color doesn't appeal me that much I feel like I gotta have one just because of the packaging heh.

Jules Avatar

That pink ombre blush looks familiar…hmmm….let’s hope they send people the right ones this time and you don’t have to scrape it with a knife! 😛

I don’t know who they are, but I’ve been searching for the perfect dark red lipstick so I think I’ll pick up Opera and Sin. This looks like a fun collection; let’s hope the quality is there. And like everybody else has said, Oxblood makes no sense – it’s already a color and it looks nothing like light peachy nude! There’s no creature on this planet with blood that looks that pale.

WARPAINTandUnicorns Avatar

I’m really hoping Pearlglide Intense Eyeliner in Chlorafill is just as good as the rest of the current Pearlglide shades because that formula is heavenly! So of course I own a number of those shades. 😉

And YES Blush Ombre’s!!!

But is it just me but does Ripe Peach looklike it’s fading tin a rose pink instead of the light more brighter pink of the original? I’m curious if they have improved the texture/formula this time around ad well. It wasn’t bad, but it can use an improvement. 😉

Azalea Blossom is completly diffrent as well but I like those shades I’m seeing. Ligh cool pink into a hot cool pink.
Kindergarten Red look like it packs a lot of heat in it. Ombre for deeper skin tones!?!

Lacey Avatar

How fun is this packaging? I have to admit I’m clueless about the people involved in the collaboration, but I like what they brought to the table. 🙂 And I hope the blush ombrés perform as well as they have in the past because I was never able to snag them in those collections.

Katherine T. Avatar

Ooh, pretty collection!! The colors of the lipsticks and blushes look very wearable, and glad to see they came out with some blue and purple shadows, and not just neutrals. I like the ombre blushes –it’s like getting 2 or 3 blushes in one kit. Hope this reviews well

Clio Avatar

I can’t even with these prices. MAC isn’t the luxury brand they want us to think they are, not with the way they’ve been under-performing for the last several years.

Mariella Avatar

I’ll be curious to read if the permanent shades in the palette measure up to their quality when sold individually (far too often lately, MAC’s palette versions of permanent colours have been very disappointing). I’m not a fan of matte lip colours so as nice as a few of these look, I’ll pass on them.

Genevieve Avatar

This is probably the most interesting collection from MAC for me. Love the lipsticks – especially the reds. And I love the Moodyblu and Bellsgreen eyeshadow palettes. There is that one teal colour in the Moodyblu that is gorgeous. I really, really hope that the quality is there. Even the mascaras contain great colours and I love that blush Kindergarten Red (weird name).

El Avatar

Lime green mascara!!! I want that! And probably the three eye pencils.

Gotta agree with everyone else that naming the nude shade ‘Oxblood’ was silly. The swatch of ‘Sin’ on the other post looks like an oxblood shade; they should be reversed.

Monica Avatar

I am loving the ombre blushes. I have to have Ripe Peach and Kindergarten Red. The Ripe Peach reminds me of Ocean City Blush which worked really well for me and I wish I bought more than one. I’m hoping Ripe Peach will work out too. Kindergarten Red looks interesting too. I need to see a swatch review Christine! I guess I need to go to Nordstrom, try them on and pre-order. I just called and they have them in stock.

Aude Mai Avatar

Hey there 🙂
Does this mean that the collection will not be available in France, Mexico and Spain? Or does it mean that -as it occasionally occurs with some of MAC’s collections- in France for instance- collection are only available at ONE special store in Paris?

Have a great days makeup addicts ^^
