MAC All About Pink Look in a Box ($39.50) includes a full-sized lipstick, full-sized lipgloss, full-sized eyeliner, and a Veluxe Pearlfusion Eyeshadow trio (0.07 oz.). The lipstick and gloss are worth $31, eyeshadows are worth $20 (based on price per ounce of the full-sized Veluxe Pearlfusion Eyeshadow Palettes), and the eyeliner is worth $16 for a total value of $67 (not sure where they get $72 MAC and Nordstrom confirm it is $72 value as they are stating the value of the Veluxe Pearlfusion Trio at $25).  I will review the other kits as well — please give me time as there is a lot to test!

Embrace Me Lipstick is a brightened, cool-toned fuchsia pink with a matte finish. This shade was released before, but when I compared the two, the version included in this set has a bluer undertone and appears a bit lighter, which gives it a brighter overall look. It lasted for six hours and was lightly drying when worn. It had rich, opaque color coverage and didn’t tug too much at the lips when applied. Melt Cosmetics Stupid Love (P, $19.00) is brighter. Unlimited Style Lipglass is a medium, blue-based pink with fuchsia and silver sparkle. It had semi-opaque color coverage, and some of the color did pull into lip lines but the opacity helped camouflage some of it. It had a slightly thick consistency and wore for four and a half hours. It was neither drying nor hydrating. NYX Sugar Cookie (P, $5.00) is sheerer. Urban Decay Crush (P, $19.00) is cooler-toned, less glossy, less sparkly. Milani Flashy (P, $7.49) is more shimmery. Fabulous Three #1 is described as a “soft beige.” It’s a light-medium, yellowed beige with a frosted finish. It had semi-opaque pigmentation applied both wet and dry, though it was smoother when applied with a dampened brush. The color stayed true for eight hours before fading. YSL Saharienne #1 (P) is less shimmery. Too Faced Riviera (P, $16.00) is similar. Kat Von D Galore (LE) is lighter. MAC Ricepaper (P, $15.00) is yellower. MAC Femme-Fi (LE, $15.00) is lighter. Fabulous Three #2 is described as a “frosted peach.” It’s a metallic champagne beige with a high-shine finish and sparkle. This shade had good color payoff both wet and dry, though it was slightly darker when applied with a dampened brush. I didn’t notice any fading until after eight hours of wear, but there was some fall out. Marc Jacobs Beauty Honey Bunny (400) (P, $28.00) is a cream product. Divergent Humble Sheen (LE) is lighter. Tarina Tarantino Delightful #4 (P) is similar. bareMinerals Ball Gown (LE) is warmer. Too Faced Cheers! (LE, $16.00) is similar. MAC Summer Honey (LE, $21.00) is more glittery. Fabulous Three #3 is described as a “burgundy.” It’s a medium-dark purpled burgundy with a satin finish. It had good coverage applied dry, but it appeared darker and more intense when applied with a dampened brush. The texture was soft and fairly smooth without being powdery. This shade wore well for eight hours before fading. Kat Von D Wonderland (LE) is more shimmery, darker. Marc Jacobs Beauty The Tease #7 (P) is darker. Tom Ford Beauty Enchanted #4 (LE) is darker. Photogravure Technakohl is a dark brown with cool undertones and a matte finish. I’ve reviewed it previously here. It had decent to good color payoff and wears for eight hours on me.
