If you’re unfamiliar with Cream Colour Bases, they’re designed to be a multi-purpose product that can be used on eyes, lips, or cheeks. They can be used under or over foundation, as a sheer “veil” of color or yield “highly dramatic” color, “depending on method of application.” Hush is part of the permanent range, so if the packaging doesn’t sway you, you can save $2 by going for the regular, black compact version instead. This shade lends itself to highlighting easily, though on fairer skin, you may see some warmth come from applying it, too. The consistency is creamy, lightweight, and very blendable. The effect is luminous, dewy, and doesn’t seem to emphasize pores. It only lasts about six hours on me, but it is a product that can take a translucent setting powder without totally getting lost, if you need better wear.
