Agreed ! I wish MAC would come out with a nice summer palette with a blush that doesn’t have a million colors running through it

Mariella Avatar

If those shadows are like Paint Pots in application and wear, then HURRAY, finally, for some greens and blues and other colours. At last!

Mariella Avatar

THREE releases??? Good heavens…how much of my disposable income do they want me to spend on makeup, already? I’ve got another child going off to university next year!!!

kinella Avatar

well, we are not forced to buy everything MAC produces!
must become wise customers and dont let the cosmetic industry have us in its hands…especially in these days 🙂

Macaddict Avatar

They do!
Just came back from my MAC counter anad – as per my usual – chit-chatted about upcoming collections and I was told that they really crease and are not good as a primer. Even using a primer underneath does not help them not crease…

Alison Avatar

Looking forward to the coloured Zoom lash as that is my favourite mac mascara and i think will be better than the coloured Opulash from Wonder Woman.
The shadows looks interesting too. Nice range of colours

Sabrina Avatar

ugh the eyeshadows arent permanent? Thats a big release just to be LE. I want to eventually buy a good chunk of these but I can afford to get what I want before its unavailable )=

Ashley Avatar

I want the mascaras! especially the purple and blue.
what’s a good eyelash primer? are they all the same, could i get away with using a drugstore eye lash primer ( they usually come on the other side of a mascara )?

Autumn Avatar

Ashley – I really love Lancome’s Cils Booster primer . It not only keeps my mascara on longer with no flaking it also seems to make my Mascara work better and conditions my lashes! Love it!

Sarah M Avatar

The colours look amazing but I really don’t like these kind of creamy/liquidy/moussey type shadows. I have one from YSL and find it really hard to work with. If these are similar in texture I’ll be skipping. I might check out the mascaras though.

Angel Avatar

ohhhh i’m in trouble :(. Christine, I’m just hoping that your review on these will turn me off hah.
actually, i just really wanna know whether these will be similar to paint pots and not crease?

Nav - Avatar

I’m not sure if I want all of the shadows…if they’re like the paint pots Mac already have then I won’t need to buy the same colours! 🙂

Karla Avatar

The 242 brush is the best shader brush ever! it’s great with cream products, but also with powders and it leaves an extremely high pigmentation! I think that this one is so much better than the 239!

Maya C Avatar

Oh good lord, as if MAC needed yet another collection this year!! Christine, how do you budget for all of these collections? You must be the ultimate accountant.
Too bad I love colored cream shadows so much, I will inevitably be picking up at least one because I can’t resist! I hope they’re nice!

Cecilia Avatar

whipped mousse cream shadows?? interesting… hope they fair far better than the mousse shadows maybelline came out with and promptly discontinued.

JamieJames Avatar

Christine, what are big bounce shadows??? Are they like paints pots?? Thats the first thing I thought they were when I saw the promo pics.

Nenita Avatar

I heard these suck and last only about 4 hours and are sheer, therefore my wallet will be very happy :). But I will be buying some things from the Fashion Flower collection.

auroragyps Avatar

I’m hoping that these are like eye glosses, since I’ve been looking for some for a long while now. So either I can get one of these in a color that will go well over regular eye shadows or hopefully other companies will make less expensive dupes, so I can get a few colors.

El Avatar

I got a chance to play with these the other day and all I’ll say is that they are definitely not like paint pots in texture. Definitely more liquid/mousse-y. It’s a different product all on it’s own. Your reviews are really spot on so I can’t wait to see your full reviews on these so we can see how they wear. I know they will help a lot of people!

Jilliterate Avatar

I won’t be convinced until I see your review. “A new formula innovation in luminescent washes that build from sheer to medium easily” says to me ‘Not very pigmented.’ I’d rather have something that was super pigmented, and be able to choose to work with sheer, medium, or heavy colour.

Mina Avatar

Wow these look great except for the price! $20 each? Do they think we are rich??? I used to like MAC because it used to be cheaper than most department store makeup but now…..i’ll probably just afford to buy one, considering they’re also coming out with 2 other collections the same day….:(

Kathy Avatar

I have a MAC artist who usually helps me kill my budget. He had just been to the class and said that these have a 4 hour stay life. I don’t know if that’s without primer or not. I’m waiting for Christine’s review. I did ask to be clear and he confirmed 4 hours…but that’s more money for Fashion Flower or Semi Precious or kit items or stupid stuff like food.

Can someone tell me why they just didn’t increase the Paint Pot line? Why don’t they repromote the Paints

Tyler Avatar

I would be all over a new M.A.C paint release! I got into M.A.C after the fun colored paints were discontinued. I use Bare Canvas & Sublime Nature on a regular basis and personally much prefer them over paint pots

Krys Avatar

I love mousse/cream blushes but I don’t think I’ll be a fan of that kind of formula for an eye shadow. Maybe some of the colors will work well as a blush!

Sandrine Avatar

I wish these were paint pots instead of mousse shadows which are liquidy in texture and crease like there’s no tomorrow. I haven’t heard any positive feedback about this new shadow formula. Shame! The colors would’ve made some nice addition to the paint pot range.

Dayna Avatar

I have to say, I honestly don’t care for this collection. Especially with so many “rumors” of them creasing so much. I would be interested in the mascaras if mascaras didnt have to be thrown out every 3 months. Oh well, I get to save money 🙂

Edelmc Avatar

I asked one of the artists at my mac counter about the shadows and she said they are supposed to be a sheer wash of colour and they are fab. The texture isn’t really like mousse but more like a cross between a lip gloss and a paint! She said once you wear them over a paint pot or a primer they don’t crease. She also said the texture and some of the colours were fab as cheek highlighters etc!

Victoria Avatar

Im excited for this! only if the eyeshadows are like cream shadows, or paint pots. but of they arent i prob. wont get anything from this collection 🙂

Ruth Avatar

When I read the description I really hoped they were powder ones. Bright green with multi-coloured shimmer? Yes please. I might have to try these out in store first, something which I rarely do.

Jami Avatar

Noooo!!!!! I thought i was gonna be safe besides wanting a lip gelle and a couple msf’s that are coming up but im sooooooo wanting these shadows!!!!!

Mary Avatar

The photos are beautiful and really peaked my interests, can’t wait to see swatches! I’m excited, I’ve been looking for a peachy cream shadow for awhile now and I hope I can find one in this collection.

ShelleywithanE Avatar

The new shadows are very fluid and have only a 4 hour wear time before many of them just disappear into the skin entirely. Just and FYI I got from someone who is an artist for MAC.
