It was semi-sheer on lips with noticeable color that went on evenly but still let the natural lip color come through. The texture was medium-thick with a tacky feel. FORMULA SUMMARY | MAC Dazzleglass ($20.00 for 0.06 fl. oz.) is supposed to be a “non-sticky, non-tacky, lightweight, and moisturizing” gloss with “exceptional shine with a crystalline iridescence” with “sheer colour.” Dazzleglasses are a very sparkly, longer-wearing gloss that is heavier and very tacky (it’s incredibly thick and noticeable on the lips–it’s not for someone who doesn’t like gloss). The tackier quality helps the wear trend towards three to five hours, and it helps prevent the sparkle from feeling gritty when worn while also keeping it from traveling all over the place. It has a brush-type applicator, and it is worth noting that despite the thicker plastic tube, it actually contains only 0.06 fl. oz. (Lipglass contains 0.17 fl. oz.). They are typically sheer to semi-sheer with their best qualities being the high-shine finish that’s very sparkly. They’re usually non-drying to lightly moisturizing for me. They are vanilla-scented but have no discernible taste.
