In the upcoming A Novel Romance collection (online August 14th, in-stores August 21st), there are two limited edition shades of MAC Blush ($22.00 for 0.21 oz.).

MAC Animal Instincts Blush ($22.00 for 0.21 oz.). is described as a “shimmering plum [with a Frost finish].” It’s a muted, medium-dark warm plum with a soft sheen. It had fairly good color payoff, and the texture was soft, thin but not powdery, and blendable. On me, the color wore well for eight hours before starting to fade. MAC Corol #2 (LE, $21.00) is warmer, lighter. Giorgio Armani Light Rose (LE) is more shimmery. theBalm Cabana Boy (P, $21.00) is cooler-toned. MAC Fun Ending Blush ($22.00 for 0.21 oz.). is described as a “soft neutral peach [with a Satin finish].” It’s a pink-peach with warm undertones and a satin-matte finish. I noticed that this blush had a tendency to darken on the skin if there was any natural oils on it, which made it look very similar to Animal Instincts applied lightly! The texture was soft, blendable, and smooth, while it had good pigmentation. It lasted for almost eight hours on me before fading. Makeup Geek Honeymoon (P, $9.99) is lighter, more shimmery. Hourglass Luminous Flush (P, $35.00) is darker. Tarina Tarantino Feather (P, $25.00) is pinker. MAC Lured to Love (LE, $27.00) is brighter, warmer. MAC Legendary (LE, $21.00) is darker.
