MAC Alluring Aquatic Collection repromotes two shades of the Pearlglide Intense Eyeliner formula–both are part of the permanent range–that are packaged in a satiny teal encased pencil. Worth noting, there are no “droplets” on the packaging with this product, so if you’re really into the colors themselves, you can save a little bit of money by buying them in regular packaging. This formula wears eight hours on me, and they’re very emollient and creamy, so they don’t tug at the lash line.

MAC Black Line Pearlglide Intense Eyeliner ($17.50 for 0.04 oz.) is described as a “black with gold pearl.” It’s a dark black with lots of gold and olive bronzer with subtle warm undertones. It was nicely pigmented in a single stroke, but I noticed that this was more shimmery than the last one of these I swatched (it’s part of the permanent range). The only dupe I could think of is Shiseido Black Sand, but it’s not as gold.

MAC Black Swan Pearlglide Intense Eyeliner ($17.50 for 0.04 oz.) is described as a “black with pearl.” It’s a cool-toned, medium-dark black with silver shimmer and sparkle. The color payoff was mostly opaque in a single stroke. Tarina Tarantino Rockstar Love (P, $15.00) is less shimmery. NARS 47th Street (LE, $24.00) is more shimmery.
