Is there a such thing as being too young or too old for makeup? Why? Please be respectful and mindful in your comments! I think there's a too young--I don't think it's appropriate for a five year old to be wearing makeup on a regular basis. I totally get playing dress-up, recitals, and the like, but it's something that has to be monitored carefully and not over-indulged. I think there’s a too young–I don’t think it’s appropriate for a five year old to be wearing makeup on a regular basis. I totally get playing dress-up, recitals, and the like, but it’s something that has to be monitored carefully and not over-indulged. It is very easy to get caught up in looking good with the help of makeup and lose sight of how beautiful we are naturally at any age, but when we’re young, we can be especially vulnerable.
