I said once, but I’m only talking about lipstick. I carry around a little makeup pouch of lipsticks (I try to swap them out regularly so everything gets used and I don’t forget I own something) but that’s it. I don’t bring other makeup out with me.

I usually like to blot and maybe touch up my powder in the afternoon- I apply my makeup very early, so by 1:00 it’s already been on for about 6 or 7 hours. Then if I’m going anywhere else in the evening after I get home, I like to freshen my eyeshadow a little as well, especially the inner corner. I have a bad habit of touching my eyes and it wears down my shadow in those areas.

Depends on the day , if I’m wearing foundation, the weather etc. In the above 80deg high humid temps, if I wear foundation I touch up all too frequently. I cannot keep track. But more so I don’t wear foundation under these conditions so no need for touch ups. At work throughout the school year, I don’t have time to touch up and if weather remains mild, I don’t really need to luckily. On the weekends though, if wearing foundation, I do at least once a day. If I’m just wearing mascara and a little e/s I dont need to touch up. If I’m wearing lipstick I touch up at least twice unless it is a matte liquid lip and I don’t need to touch up at all. So it all really depends?

I usually end up touching up or reapplying lipstick at least once because I’m constantly snacking and drinking coffee/water 🙂

Everything else though – hardly ever gets touched up, unless I notice my eye shadow has creased or rubbed off or something like that.

Depends on the product
*Eyeshadow/Eyeliner/Eye Brows – none. despite my oily lids, I use industrial strength primer and long lasting products
*Sunscreen -1x per day, spot touch ups
*Highlighters -1x per day
*Powder – 1-2x per day, T zone only
*Blushes -2x per day
*Lipsticks – constantly, as I sip water/tea all day long

my cheeks eat blush! I use primer, foundation, a cream base underneath, and set with a little powder on top, and I still need to touch up at least once a day, usually twice

If it wasn’t for my lipstick I probably wouldn’t touch up my makeup all day long, or at most I’d retouch my eyeliner, maybe add a little more blush if I didn’t do a good enough job the first time around. Retouching my lipstick barely counts – it’s almost an automatic gesture.

I have combo skin so I definitely need to blot and touch up with some powder on my T-zone. That’s where I get really oily. I also reapply lip product if needed after eating or drinking.

I voted “twice”, due to my touching up my lipstick anywhere from zero to 3 times per day depending on formula, lip conditions that day, and snacking during the day. Most days, just once or twice!

I said once but it depends on what we are talking about touching up. I reapply lip products one to three times depending on what formula I chose to wear. As far as face makeup, I may blot or powder my t-zone once, but there have been days when I haven’t needed to do so.

A couple of times a day – but it depends on what I am doing. I certainly replace my lipstick quite a few times and may blot for shine on my face as well. Unless I am going out in the evening, I don’t change my eye makeup.

I’m going to assume the question does NOT refer to refreshing lipstick or powdering — I do the latter so often so that I can’t make a powder compact last longer than a month. And my lipstick needs help about every couple hours.

I do keep a mini makeup kit at work, and I touch up before I leave (I also brush my teeth — not sure how I developed this habit). The kit contains a RotS foundation, basic eyeshadow palette, 2 blushes, and a contour/highlight palette. It stays at work. My super oily skin eats color cosmetics, and I often don’t go straight home, so I feel better if I can touch up and look … not exhausted … before I face the rest of the world.

I don’t wear make up everyday but when I do, I usually end up re applying lipstick. Other than that, I love spraying some hydrating facial mist once or twice during the day.

I have to touch-up a lot. If I am working very concentrated, I am unconciously
touching my face very often. Blemishes at my chin are often deconceiled ? afterwards and even my eyebrows look uneven. Before going out in the evening I would always refresh my whole face. Nothing Looks good after eight hours on me…

I’m pretty relieved to see most of answers are none or once. I think for awhile I felt pretty defective that I wasn’t more concerned with touch-ups. I’ll touch up eyeshadow/powder/blush/lipstick if I’m going out after work and stopping at home first, but usually that’s not the case. The only make-up I carry in my purse is lipstick/gloss, but usually am too busy to touch it up during the day and just use Bite agave lip mask throughout the day that I leave out on my desk. I may start keeping a compact in my purse as I’ve noticed within the last month or two I’ve been a little shinier than normal (it may be the cc cream I changed to since it coincided with that).

I never touch up my face or eye makeup because I just can’t be bothered. I do reapply lipsticks, but I kinda felt like that didn’t count because those are always gonna come off after eating. 😛

A lot. At least in regards to foundation/concealer. I have acne and find I have to periodically touch up most spot concealing and, regardless if I have any pimples around my nose or not, touch up the area around my nose and chin frequently. Foundation never wants to stay looking fresh on those areas of my face regardless of the time of year, or which foundation/primer/concealer I’m using. It drives me bonkers. And lipstick of course after eating/drinking a bit.

Everything else I apply once in the morning and I’m set, although occasionally I will touch up blush/highlight if I’m going out at night with friends.
