6-15 minutes.
Could take longer
But……
It’s very important to have a 5 minute or less makeup routine to facilitate getting out of the house and always being on time!

I have a basic ‘work’ face that should only take me 5 minutes (I’m trying to get it there), but I’m on the slow side. Trying to not ‘dilly-dally’ while applying. Maybe I should time myself?

Now that I have a new job where I start later in the morning, I give myself 30 minutes to do my makeup. When I used to start work at 8, I generally didn’t have more than 5 minutes so most of my days were sans makeup. I’m so not a morning person, lol!

Really tough question for me. I don’t wear makeup when I’m working from home. On the weekends, I have plenty of time (I get up at 3 a.m.) so I’m not in a rush nor do I need the “5 minute makeup” that so many do to get off to work. I have time to just play around with what I’m doing. If I had to do makeup and then get out the door, I would most likely streamline back to a 15 minute or less look.

My usual time is 30 mins because I am indecisive on what look I want. I usually will put on the first product then find what I’m wearing for the day, put on the second product then get dressed, then the third product, fix breakfast, eat breakfast then finish the look. So 30 actual mins of makeup but a full hour with the entire process.

If I know what colors/products I will wear, I can do a full face in 15 minutes, which is pretty fast. I usually decide on my look during my shower. If I’m not using eye shadow (except for a beige shade all over the lid), I can do it in 5 minutes if needed. Eye shadow always takes the longest because I have oily lids, so I have to prep/prime and layer.

If I’m not in a hurry it takes me some twenty minutes to get my makeup done, but back when I was working I’d do it in under five minutes (concealer in the worst spots, blush and I was good to go. I could always add a little lipstick or eyeliner on the way).

I said 6-15 min, which is typically the amount of time I have on a weekday. But when I don’t have to be in a hurry to get somewhere or I’m doing anything involving winged eyeliner, I take my time (at least 30 min).

Working as a PSW, I don’t see the point in wearing makeup to work. I am constantly showering people, wiping my face, sweating, it just doesnt make sense. So when I do wear it, it is a full face, and usually for a night out, date nights with my fiancรฉ, etc so I take my time and spend 30-60 minutes, pamper myself and feel my best.

Im going to beauty school to become a MUA. So I always spend 60 minutes (skin care included. I like to let my sunscreen and eye primer sink in/dry) on my makeup!!

As a MUA in training. My face is part of my work. If I don’t look “perfect” people wouldn’t want me to do their makeup, you know?

So yeah an hour for this high maintenance gal ๐Ÿ™‚

I’d say 15 mins at least because I’m very slow in the morning! If I’m in a hurry, it’ll take 15 mins max, of which filling in my eyebrows takes up most time and concentration LOL.

I voted for 16 to 30 but that includes washing my face, applying moisturizer, eye cream, sunscreen (unless I’m wearing a CC cream) running a comb through my hair – not just colour cosmetics.

I’m a bit slow at getting ready to be honest. Showering, dressing up.. I’m just slow. So it usually takes me about 30 minutes to do my makeup. I can do it alot faster, but I like to take me time so I don’t spend all day touching up. Plus, I get annoyed throughout the day if my makeup doesn’t look good!

For me, it’s generally 10-12 minutes. I cleanse my face in the shower. After brushing my teeth and facial moisturizing, I curl my bangs and the ends of my hair. Then makeup begins. I put on Bobbi Brown BB Cream and a little bronzer. Then I put on Urban Decay’s Eye Shadow Primer, and while I’m waiting for it to dry, I put on lipstick and pat a bit of powder on my nose and the center of my forehead. Then I put a bit of Mary Kay eyeshadow on—-cream on the brow bone, brown in the outer corners and crease of the lid (blending it a bit), with a goldfish pale green in the inner corners of the eye. Then I curl my lashes and put on the first coat of L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara in Black. I fill my brows in with Maybelline brow pencil in Blonde. I brush, style, and spray my hair. One more coat of mascara, and I’m ready to go!

If I must I think I can manage something passable in 5 minutes, but I like to sit and relax doing my makeup so I voted 31 to 60 minutes. Sometimes I’m up to the 90 to 120 minutes, but then it’s probably because the foundation and the sunscreen/primer/moisturiser or something else doesn’t work together or I’m trying a foundation that just sets in the pores but not in between them, resulting in a polkadot skin. Not fun at all. I hope this has never happened to anyone else here.

I got an error back on the vote, but I selected 16-30. In all honesty. It probably runs a little longer than that most days, but nowhere near 60 minutes. In my defense, makeup time is listen-to-music and drink-a-cup-of-coffee time. I’m in no hurry.

I can spend anywhere from two to three hours doing makeup. I like taking my time, swatching colors together to see how they look, and being meticulous and precise. However, I can do my makeup in fifteen minutes if I choose to.

I need at least 20 mins for my base (concealer, foundation, powder, contour, blush) — that’s non-negotiable. Also around 10 min for brows/mascara. If I can’t get to bed until late the night before, I’ll sometimes skip eye makeup, or just do a simple one-shadow, and sleep for the extra 15-20 min. But normally, for a work look, I’ll spend about 15 min on eyes. (If I were going out, or just had some time to play, I’d take more like 30.)
If I were just going to the store or something, and needed to get out fast, I could get ready in about 10-15 min, but for work it’s 30-50, and I could never do it in under 30. With skincare/hair/clothes, I generally give myself 2hrs to get ready each morning.
