For fall, Guerlain has revamped their powder blush formula, and the new formula is supposed to create a “veil of ultralight texture that’s buildable and easy to apply for a subtle wash of color.” There are six shades available, and this is one of two shades that I received to test. This particular shade will be better suited for those fairer than I (I’m about medium for warm, yellow undertones at the moment, a little darker than usual), as it doesn’t show up well on my skin tone, but I suspect it’ll be a very wearable hue on most fair skin tones. It had semi-sheer color payoff that was somewhat buildable, but the best I could get was semi-opaque, which was a bit of a stretch. The texture was soft, a little dusty, but blendable on the skin without emphasizing the skin’s natural texture. The color started to fade after seven and a half hours of wear.
