Givenchy Croisiere Fuchsia (309) Le Rouge ($36.00 for 0.12 oz.) is described as a “vibrant lavender fuchsia.” It’s a fuchsia-magenta with a creamy finish and a soft sheen. It had strong, blue undertones. Urban Decay Anarchy is much brighter. Revlon Lollipop is darker, shimmery. NYX Pink Lyric is lighter. Maybelline Hot Plum is brighter. MAC Zen Rose is more muted, purpler. MAC Dish It Up is more muted. Le Metier de Beaute Paris is less shiny. See comparison swatches.

It had mostly opaque color payoff, and the consistency was creamy with more slip than other shades in the Le Rouge range. Because it had more slip, when I pressed my lips together, I could see slight lines forming because of the lipstick bunching up on itself. The formula was still hydrating, though, and it lasted five and a half hours and left behind a soft, pinky stain.  Croisiere Fuchsia is part of the limited edition summer collection, so it is packaged with a thin layer of white leather around the tube rather than black leather (as the permanent range is).
