Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Liner ($34.00 for 0.10 oz.) is a new, limited edition formula that features four shades (three of which I have to share with you). The formula is supposed to “offer buildable intensity” with long-wear. They had fairly good color payoff in one pass, and the brush holds enough product to get a clean, crisp, opaque line across the lash line. It’s less “buildable” as it is able to be sheered out if desired. All three lasted around seven and half hours on my lower lash line before fading. This formula doesn’t flake away as some liquid eyeliners do, and they are slightly smudgeable even after they dry down. I love how unique the shades are, and I think they have a lot of depth in-person (less so in photos), but I wish they wore longer.

A quick note… I received these from Giorgio Armani, but the names on the boxes didn’t line up with the names provided in the press release or as listed on Giorgio Armani’s website (they may have changed names, or the boxes have an English translation). Per boxes, they are listed as Quarzo (2), Ametista (3), and Oro Oscuro (6). The names in the post reflect the names/numbering as they are listed on retailers’ websites and in the press release.

Giorgio Armani Quarzo (2) Eyes to Kill Liner ($34.00 for 0.10 oz.) is a metallic, mauve-taupe that sometimes is so reflective that it looks like a warm bronze and other times like a mushroom-y gray. It was a total pain-in-the-behind to photograph due to its seriously reflective finish. Guerlain Amber Silver (05) (P, $30.00) is less shimmery, pencil. Giorgio Armani Ametista (3) Eyes to Kill Liner ($34.00 for 0.10 oz.) is a muted, bluish-purple wit gray and multi-colored shimmer (primarily teal). It also has a more metallic sheen that reflects a good bit of light back, which gives it a lighter appearance applied. I looked, but nothing that I’ve reviewed before seems to come close to the color of this eyeliner.

Giorgio Armani Oro Oscuro (6) Eyes to Kill Liner ($34.00 for 0.10 oz.) is a brightened, olive green with warm, golden undertones and a metallic sheen.
