• Weekend plans: I’m visiting my parents, as it’s Mother’s Day on Sunday. Mother’s Day and Thanksgiving are the two holidays that make me miss my parents the most–I just physically feel their absence on those particular days more so than others.
• How do you stay focused on a task?: If it’s a larger task, I break it into smaller tasks, and if it’s not simple, I’ll make a to-do list so I can easily see what I have to do, what’s remaining, and be able to check things off as I do them (I use Todoist, which is a digital to-do list). I also try to visualize the end goal as I get closer to it.
