?? Blood test came back and his liver enzyme values are exceptional! Not only did they drop significantly from a 6 weeks ago, but they are perfectly normal! He'll get another blood test in six weeks, but if his values stay this good, the vet says he may start to taper his meds (will be on them for life but less dosages) and that there should be no impact on his longevity! ??. . For anyone in a similar situation, Mellan's ALT was around 550 (now 64) and AST was 75 (now 15).
