Fenty Beauty Mimosa Sunrise/Sangria Sunset Killawatt Foil Freestyle Highlighter Duo ($36.00 for 0.24 oz.) contains a bright, light tangerine and a rich pink. Together, they created a medium, coral-orange effect with a frosted sheen. Both shades were pigmented, long-wearing, and fairly blendable.

The formula is supposed to have a "creamy texture" with a "mega-reflective, foil-like finish" that can be used on the "face, eyes, collarbone [or] anywhere you crave a touch of light." The brand described them as "buildable, color-rich luminizers," which seems to indicate the finish is more buildable than the base (as they're touted as "color-rich" in other marketing pieces). The majority of the shades have mostly opaque to opaque pigmentation and have a denser, firmer texture (not stiff, though) that lends itself to lighter-hand application for sheerer coverage if preferred. Most of the shades were pearly to metallic with slight, finer sparkle and didn't emphasize my skin's natural texture. They lasted between eight and nine hours on me with minimal fading over time. As eyeshadows, they performed decently, but a couple of shades had larger flecks of sparkle, which seemed to look more obvious when I tried blending them out as an eyeshadow.

Mimosa Sunrise

Mimosa Sunrise is a vibrant, light-medium tangerine orange with strong, warm yellow undertones and a pearly sheen. It was one of the least shimmery shades in the duos for reference. The pigmentation was fantastic, while the texture was smooth, blendable, and easy to work with, though I’d use a moderate hand or denser brush to pickup product more evenly. As an eyeshadow, it applied best with pressing and patting motions. It wore well for nine hours on me before fading.

Sangria Sunset

Sangria Sunset is a medium-dark pink with subtle, cool undertones and a metallic sheen. The texture was soft, smooth, and dense without being stiff or hard to pick up product when using a brush. It had nearly opaque color coverage that applied evenly and blended out with little effort on my cheeks, though it seemed to look a bit less metallic in a single layer once buffed and blended out. I didn’t have any trouble using it as an eyeshadow. The color stayed on well for nine hours on me before fading a bit.
