I only carry a powder compact (KvD Lock-It Blotting Powder) and whatever lipstick I’m wearing that day, so they go into a small zipper compartment in my purse. The zipper compartment is what I consider my “makeup bag,” though it really isn’t a bag. Therefore, I voted “other.”

Any time I’m going to be leaving the house for more than 4 hours with makeup on I bring powder, lipstick, an eye shadow, and sometimes an eye liner. I always have lip balm, hand lotion, and mini first aid and fix-it kits in my purse though.

I used to, but now I just keep blotting sheets and lipsticks on me. Everything else can stay at home, I don’t need to do touch ups since I keep my makeup on lock.

I do keep a makeup bag in my purse and one in my school bag but they are small and I certainly don’t carry stuff like eyeshadow or foundation, etc. in them. Usually, it’s a lipstick or two, a lip brush, a touch-up type powder and a brush. Sometimes, if it’s going to be a very long day, I’ll bring a blush (the powder brush can do double-duty) and an eye lining pencil.

Yes always. It holds lotion, hand sanitizer, lip balm, a tweezers, gum, a hair tie, blotting sheets and tissues. The makeup (powder and lipstick mostly) gets taken out at the end of the day

Yes – if I am wearing makeup then a makeup bag goes with me. You never know if you’ll need a touch up. If plans change during the day then I will have it with me to freshen my look.

I have a little pouch that I keep in my purse that contains: tweezers, nail clippers, hand lotion, hand sanitizer, lip primer, lip liner, lipstick, lip balm, and concealer – the lipstick gets changed out when needed.

Yes! Mostly a small mirror and a mix of one chapstick, lipsticks and gloss. As if heading out of the house without earrings I feel ‘unsafe’ something’s is missing without my lipstick’s super powers protection. Lol! My mom thinks I’m crazy. 5 of them! Just love them! And forget often to reapply like sunblock. .

I keep a little bag of 5ish lipsticks in my work bag. I usually don’t apply lipstick until I get to work so I want to have some options. Theoretically I go through my lipstick bag once a week and rotate the old ones out and rotate new ones in, but I have not been wearing lipstick often lately and have been carrying the same ones around for about three weeks now.

I don’t carry other makeup around. Everything else better stay where it is throughout the day.

Sure I do, it’s part of my make up addiction. I always carry with me blotting sheets, make up remover wipes, mini size primer, foundation, brow pencil, blush, mini compact powder, a small brush, eye liner, lips liner, two or three lipsticks, mini perfume. I know, it’s nuts.

Not a makeup bag per se….but I always have stuff in my purse. I try to keep it limited to powder compact, mascara, eyeliner ( my travel size or more used up UD liners), a couple lipsticks or glosses and some lip balm. Oh and one or two rollerball perfumes.

Nope, I toss the lipstick and/or gloss I’m wearing that day into my backpack. If anything else is out of place then that’s just tough coconuts. When I’m in college I don’t have time to run to the bathroom for check ups. I also have like 2-4 different lip balms scattered between my wallet, backpack/bag, pocket, etc.

What to call what I use on the daily? Not sure. But I always bring makeup for touch-up’s in my purse side zippered pouch that all mine have on the inside. Not a separate make-upbag, though.

Always have a fully outfitted makeup bag on work days. On off days, don’t take anything makeup with me when running around doing errands, unless I’m going out to some venue day or night &, then, unlike work days, iwhat makeup I do take is very very selective/minimalist.

I only carry the lipstick and/or gloss I’m wearing that day. I tend to not do any other touching up throughout the day.

I bring a full makeup case with me on work days because I do my makeup in the car once I get to work! When I had my son, I didn’t have time to do the full face of makeup I was used to doing at home, so I’d finish it up at work. It actually helped me consolidate my daily makeup and streamline my process. Now with a newborn and a two-and-a-half year old, my makeup is important “me” time every day when I can be creative.

I keep a makeup bag at work, but it stays there. The only other time I have a makeup bag is when traveling, or when I’m expecting to be out and about all day, but have an event (dinner out, party, etc.) very late in the day that will run into late evening/night, and know I won’t have an opportunity to go home beforehand (that’s pretty rare — I don’t go out much).

After reading other comments I thought I should add: I always put the lipstick (if any) that I put on in the morning and a coordinating colored lip balm in my pocket when I go to work. And I do always have powder on me — usually in my bike glove case, but sometimes in my pocket/bag/whatever I’m carrying.

Yes, it’s a bag of basics that I have in case a zit pops up, I’m looking dry and noticing lines, my eyeliner got rubbed off from my allergy-prone eyes. There’s a black eyeliner, a blur stick, a concealer, a blush stick (even though I use powder most often – no need for an applicator), a tweezer, dental floss, a bronzer sample, a fragrance sample or rollerball, a lip balm, and a bunch of lipsticks. Oh, and my Naked basics palette and a pencil sharpener. If anything happens where my makeup is destroyed, I can do eyeliner, shadow, brows, bronzer, blush, concealer, and lip color with this bag. I don’t think I would bother trying to fix mascara or foundation – those are “take it from the top” items. If I like the lip color I’m wearing/trying out that day, I actually take that with me too, but usually not in the makeup bag – probably a pocket or loose in my purse.

I only keep a makeup bag very rarely -say if I was going out somewhere straight after work and needed a decent touch up. Or if I was at a wedding and was changing from afternoon to evening wear for the reception.

However, I always carry a couple of lipsticks and a comb to touch up wherever I am throughout the day.
