I’ve only purchased makeup from sites like eBay or StrawberryNet a few times in the past, but generally, I prefer to buy makeup from retailers that I know are authorized to sell the makeup, which means big retailers like Nordstrom, Sephora, etc. Whenever possible, I buy from Nordstrom for makeup, because I prefer their customer service and policies.
