Gold has long been a signature color for the House of Dior. Mr. Dior’s creations incorporated gold in various ways, whether as an opulent adornment on a timeless Dior Grey Bar Suit or in a complete ensemble. Today, looks created by Raf Simons for Dior feature metallic, subtle gold elements to balance audacious shades of red, pink, fuchsia, or silver. Now, Peter Philips has combined the storied history of Dior Gold and Dior Grey with the modern incarnations of these elegant shades to create a limited edition color collection for holiday. Philips’ vision of gold and radiance incorporates the emblematic Dior Grey with gold to create a subtle, delicate hybrid. This modern shade of Grey-Gold mixes seamlessly with more intense shades of radiant reds and pinks and delicate, shimmering nudes for an urban yet sophisticated look.

Eyes are imagined in iridescent and metallic effects, from shimmering grey-gold contrasting with warmer hues of soft burgundy and pale pink, to elegant champagne complemented by regal purple. Lips pop in moisture-rich matte shades of vibrant pink, rosewood, deep red, and fresh pink, while nails complete the look in shades of grey iridescent gold, blazing red, burgundy and sparkling glitter gold. The complexion is luminous, highlighted by shades of golden beige.
