How does the promo image eye look tie into this collection? I’m assuming the model is wearing a stylo yeux all over her eye. That’s got to hurt. I have a few in my stash and while Chanel always seems to come up with must have colours for me, this waterproof formula is typically not creamy and blendable and I find really rather harsh to apply.

Not that excited for this collection. I was hoping for a fun vivid purple in the illusion d’ombre formula based on the promo.

i’m sure this is a beautiful collection and, if you purchase this that you absolutely love it! now, this is strictly my opinion. this collection is probably the worst produced from chanel. it’s hideous. i thought moonlight pink would be promising. it’s the same color as my skin. as usual, some prices have gone up. $37 for a rouge coco shine. i was very disappointed in this collection. the quad is on backorder and will be available first week of january.

I was born and raised here in California, but I don’t know if I would describe our morning skies as “raspberry”. I usually cannot wait to dive into spring makeup the moment Christmas is over. But I think I’ll wait until all reviews are in on this one. From the promos, it looks like they drew inspiration from the LA streets, all right. Hmmm. That eye look is scary. I have seen the review on the nail shade. Ironically, it seems like shades of purple are the go to in their early spring collections.

This collection looks gorgeous! Love the 80s vibe! Cobalt was definitely my favorite color back then! But the promo pic doesn’t really seem to match, with the vibrant purple shadow and no blush on the model…maybe more to come?

I’m so not ready for Spring collections to start rolling out! But, I feel like I say this every makeup season. It comes & goes so quickly!
I like this collection. It reminds me of my pre-teen years when I first discovered makeup. Its totally late 80’s – 90’s . I’m really interested in the blush and illusion d’ ombres. I’m surprised there is no palette. But, my wallet will take it.

I love the look of the collection, but the promo image is throwing me off… why have your model wearing bright purple and fuschia eyeshadow, if those colors are in no way part of your collection? It seems bizarre to me.

Strange this collection is being launched in spring, when the colors are so bold and are suppose to evoke LA summers. I’m liking the bold eye colors, and there’s also a quad that’s not shown here

Nancy, there’s a Chanel shadow quad that wasn’t shown, might be right up your alley. It has a dark purple, mauve lavender, teal blue, and light beige

Oh girl, I think you are set! I have some of those same purples and teals you have (great minds think alike or just read Temptalia LOL), and they are awesome, will be hard for Chanel to top those, but who knows, still curious……

I wanted the blush but there is no way I’m paying that kind of money for one blush. I could have three or four of them for that kind of price.

The promo pic looks amazing until you see the collection.?where is that gorgeous purple e/s she’s wearing? Also, blush??? The promo pic shows her wearing like none. Then we see the gorgeous pic of it in the pan. What do we believe? The blush is gorgeous in the pan but no pigmentation on cheeks?? This is an epic FAIL collection imo.

The eyeliners look okay but everything else looks tacky. When I indulge in a high priced line like Chanel, I want them to keep everything classy and beautiful but this looks like 70s disco at its worst. So disappointed. They made their beautiful model look like a clown.
