I never learn; this is just not a formula that I can get to work for me. Chanel says the formula is supposed to be “gentle [and] soft” for “smooth, even lining,” while it is also listed as waterproof. It’s a stiffer, firmer eyeliner that tugs at the lower lash line and never feels pleasant to use. I’m able to get some color payoff when I’ve used it on my lower lash line, but I always have to go back two or three times to get even, semi-opaque coverage. On the upside, it did wear well and was waterproof when I tested it, with the eyeliner lasting nine hours on me.
