Chanel Mirabella Le Vernis Nail Colour ($27.00 for 0.40 fl. oz.) is described as an “orange.” It’s a brightened, medium orange with warm, yellow undertones and a cream finish. It was opaque after two coats, and it applied evenly, smoothly, and without streaking. It dried down to a moderately glossy finish, so you could get away without applying a top coat. Cult Nails Ay Poppy (DC, $12.00) is darker, redder. NARS TV Party (LE, $19.00) is darker. NARS Madness (LE, $19.00) is brighter. MAC Morange (P, $16.00) is slightly darker. Chanel Tutti Frutti Le Vernis Nail Colour ($27.00 for 0.40 fl. oz.) is described as a “soft coral.” It’s a slightly muted, pink-coral with warm undertones and a cream finish. It was fully opaque after two coats, and the texture wasn’t too thick or too thin. It applied evenly, without streaking, and it didn’t bubble or pool along the edges. Chanel Tapage (605) (P, $27.00) is darker, brighter. NARS Shameless Red (LE, $19.00) is slightly darker. Chanel Elixir (589) (P, $27.00) is darker.
