Chanel Jade Shore Stylo Eyeshadow ($34.00 for 0.05 oz.) is described as a “tender green.” It’s a cool-toned green with gold and aquamarine shimmer. It’s complex; and I think it’s going to look bluer on those with cooler undertones. Tom Ford Emerald Lust #2 is darker and a powder eyeshadow. Chanel Metamorphose #1 is similar but powder. The Stylo Eyeshadow formula is supposed to feel lightweight, be long-wearing, and give a “shimmering veil” of color. I had some wear issues with Cool Gold, but when I tried Jade Shore, the experience was rather different! I didn’t experience any creasing, and I didn’t have significant issues with fall out. There were a few stray sparkles underneath my lash line after eight hours of wear, but it was barely noticeable. The consistency felt exactly the same as with Jade Shore: wet and cool, just like water, creamy, and it glided on effortlessly, but despite all the slip, it didn’t settle into my creases. The color payoff is semi-sheer to semi-opaque, which is as described.
