Chanel Hasard (99) Ombre Essentielle Soft Touch Eyeshadow ($28.50 for 0.07 oz.) is described as a “matte lavender.” It’s a muted, plummy mauve with a matte finish. theBalm Just This Once Jamie is warmer, browner. Disney Carpet is purpler. MAC Swelter is also purpler. NARS Charade #1 is warmer. MAC Universal Appeal is darker, more shimmery. MAC Daylight is more shimmery. The texture was soft, smooth, and finely-milled. It had a silky feel and blended easily on the skin. It had mostly opaque color coverage, but it can be sheered out if desired, because it has such a blendable texture.  Hasard seems like a great shade for fall, and I’m curious to see how Gri-Gri looks beside it (I just bought it last night, so hopefully I get it early next week).  I thought it was going to be more dupable, but between the matte finish and the balance between pink, plum, and mauve, it wasn’t as readily duped.  It lasted eight hours without creasing, but there was some faint fading at that point, and then more noticeable fading after nine hours.
