Chanel Canaille (89) Joues Contraste Blush ($45.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a medium-dark, slightly muted, orange-brown with a soft, satiny shimmer. MAC Pleasure Model (LE, $25.00) is lighter. The texture was incredibly soft, finely-milled, and silky without being powdery or dry. It had rich, true-to-pan color payoff that could be applied at full color coverage or built up in layers if you preferred a lesser intensity. The blush applied evenly, smoothly, and it was easy to blend out the color so that it looked natural and effortless on the skin. With the satin finish, it looked glowing and luminous on the skin without emphasizing pores. Canaille lasted for a full eight hours before I noticed slight fading along the top of the cheeks.
