Absolutely not! Even with a mirror, I still have trouble applying mascara and lipstick. Without that or a little compact mirror, my face would like the magnum opus of a giddy two-year-old. :3

Only if I have my front facing camera on my phone. Unless it’s clear lip balm or moisturizer I can’t. I can kind of manage with mascara… but it usually goes sideways on me.

I can do my mascara and lipstick on public transport (nice) if the occasion calls for it i.e. I’m very late. I wouldn’t do blush without a mirror though, that would definitely not look good

I can put on tinted gloss without a mirror and I think maybe I could apply blotting powder but beyond that, I’ve never even tried to do my makeup without a mirror.

Daily makeup-wise, almost? I can do everything but the cream contour with no issues (that’s foundation, Hourglass ambient powder, a wash of eyeshadow, tightlining, mascara, and tinted lip balm). I’m living in hostels at the moment and I have definitely been known to just sit in my dorm bed and use my tiny face mirror for the contour and do the rest by feel.

Sort of! My eyesight is incredibly poor, so I have to get super close to the mirror to even SEE what I’m doing (and contact lenses bother me to no end, so they’re not an option!). Which means if I’m using a long-handled makeup-brush or putting on mascara, I kind of have to navigate by feel and then put on my glasses when I’m done to check how I did and clean up any mistakes, since even at that distance my reflection is too blurred for me to make out any details. At this point, I could probably do the entire thing without a mirror!

The only thing I can do without a mirror is apply a sheer lipstick, lipgloss or lip balm. Other than that I am stuck! A lot of my friends can apply a fairly pigmented lipstick without a mirror but I can’t say that it’s something I could do. Well, I probably could but I’d be worried that it would look a mess so I’d probably have to go find a mirror anyway. πŸ˜€

That’s not just a no, it’s an, “Are you serious? Hell, no I cannot do makeup without a mirror!” I’m not coordinated that way anymore… Wow I don’t even enter doorways without running into something, would you give me a mirror and say go? Yeah.. No. MARSALA IS PANTONE 2015 COLOR .. Thoughts? Pleeeease? Grazie!

Marsala was a bit of a surprise, though I figured it would be popular. I’d been seeing it crop up in clothing the last few months. I didn’t think it would be Color of the Year. I was expecting the COTY to be more muted, though, because the last few have been on the bright side. I guess the 90s really are back.

I love the color itself, though, and I think it’s a wonderful shade for makeup. So I am not disappointed, even though I’ve been loving the brighter colors like orchid, emerald, tangerine, honeysuckle pink, etc. the last several years.

Right? After looking at the storyboards with swatches and taglines, I figured it would be an earthy type color but more botanical earthy or mud earthy.. I also love this color! Bonus: everything will match my natural lip color! And strangely pigmented eye skin.. Welcome back, 90’s! πŸ˜€ I just wonder what message this is going to subliminally put out there and how it will affect a world in crises.. Red blood.. Had to be said.. The choice just seems unlike pantone and more like government propaganda. (IMHO) Yet I hope it has a wonderful grounding effect as well uplifting! πŸ˜€

I’m totally loving Marsala! I’ve beens loving that kind of muted burgundy red on my eyes, and I can totally see it being a great lip color as well!

Not at all! I still use a mirror or my phone to apply lipstick and gloss lol. I can’t imagine trying to apply anything else. It’ll be a complete mess lol

I’ve never tried but I think it would be a pretty certain no, but now I do sort of want to try. Too much curiosity!!

I can do lipstick, tightilining, face powder and mascara if I’m careful. Everything else kind of needs some feedback during the application process, LOL!

I actually can, probably because I’m such a slowpoke that I almost always end up cramming my makeup while driving (okay I know, dangerous). Pretty used to it now. πŸ˜† Disclaimer: my daily makeup look consists of just foundation, concealer, powder, bronzer, highlighter, blush, eyebrow (with the Benefit Gimme Brow productβ€”it’s pretty foolproof), lipstick/lipgloss, and finishing powder.

Doing my eyeshadow and eyeliner without a mirror would be pretty impossible. I mean, I occasionally still fail at that despite looking in a mirror… what more without it? πŸ˜†

Some of it, like some face powder, a wash of eyeshadow, some sheer blush, tinted lipbalm and maybe maskara, but I would definately look for a mirror afterwards. (I’ve checked out myself in parked cars’ mirrors many times! He he he!)

As long as I don’t have to do a perfect eyeliner flick (maybe just tightline or something) or use anything other than brow gel on my brows, sure!

The only thing I can’t do is my eyes. I just need the mirror for that one step. Matte lipstick, no problem. Eye makeup – I’m terrified I’ll poke myself in the eye if I can’t see myself doing my eyeliner or tightlining.

I can do easy things like primer, lipstick, mascara, blush and eyeshadow if I’m only using one color all over my lid. I absolutely need a mirror for liner, curling my lashes, lipliner, foundation, concealer and highligher/bronzer – or else I’ll look like a clown…
