We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I apply moisturizer to my face and a lip balm before anything, but I do actual makeup on my eyes before I do my face. The only time I’ll do my face first is if I know I’m not using much eyeshadow. When I do use shadows, I often will not apply it gingerly, so it’s easier to clean fallout instead of have to smudge eyeshadow all over my done-up face.

I usually start with my brows and then go on to face or eyes, depending on the level of fallout. Lately, I’ve been doing eyes first because if I apply shadow out farther than I like, then I can just use a makeup remover wipe to erase the bit I don’t want while not messing up any underlying concealer or foundation.

Eyes if I’m putting on eyeshadow, face if I’m just putting on a bit of eyeliner although I start with moisturiser and then do my eyes while that sinks in, then back to face, then to brows, then set face and blush…!

For me, it really depends what makeup I’m going to be wearing. If I’m using an “all in one” on my face (BB/CC Cream or tinted moisturizer) then I do that first, since I don’t want my face to dry out after cleansing/washing. But if I’m going to be wearing a foundation and putting moisturizer and perhaps primer under it, then I do my eyes first, to give the moisturizer some time to sink in, if this makes any sense.

I really want to do my eyes first (re: fallout and cleanup), but my head won’t let me. I have to start with base. With the foundation arsenal I have, there are important choices to be made… LOL

I always start with my eyes. Especially if I’m wearing eyeshadow. It’s just easier to clean up fallout that way.

Nowadays, face. I do my eyes last because they water so much, and it tends to be worse the closer I apply make-up to my eyes to waking up. So I usually apply eyedrops, do the rest of my face, and leave the eyes for last so they have time to settle a bit.

I usually do my eyes first anyway, but I always do them first if I’m using a new eyeliner/mascara that I’m not familiar with, just in case! It’s also easier to clean up fallout that way, like others have said.

If I’m doing full makeup, then I will do my face first. In everyday terms, I will do my eyes first, because I’m only wearing maybe liner, mascara and lipstick.

On lazy days, I will do my lips first, because I’m only wearing lipstick! 😀

Depends…if I’m doing like a smokey eye,I do my eyes 1st. If I’m doing a bright lip (it’s usually always either or, not much in the middle with me) I’ll do my face 1st but I usually end up taking conceAler off again because I’m such a perfectionist w my makeup..it’s actually can be quite annoying.

I prefer to do my face first, but I learned that doing eyes first is better, so I don’t have to reapply anything.
