I wouldnt create my own makeup line becaue a makeup line is extensive and includes many things that I dont use therefore I couldnt really know about, hence i wouldnt feel comfortable promoting. I would however like to write a book on makeup looks and possibly promote a few peices of quality eyeshadow, bronzer and lipsticks that I could place my name on.

I would rather be involved in the creative process as part of a team. I would like to come up with concepts and names rather than figuring out how to implement them.
Creating my own makeup line is one of my goals in life.
I’d never create a line of makeup, i think it’s completely possible to find everything that i need from all the major brands (esp. MAC), and think that too many unqualified people are jumping on this bandwagon of creating their own makeup and/or skincare products, it really should be left to the professionals, just being a model and having worn makeup everyday doesn’t qualify you to brand makeup with your name.
I would definitely create my own line. I’m an artist and I feel like that gives me more knowledge of color combos than just a random person with no art training, so I feel like I could have a pretty awesome line.
I’d be most interested in developing new colours and the names for them, as well as the packaging of course :]
I don’t really think so, since there are already so many different make-up lines out there. I really wouldn’t know what a new line can add what other brands already have in their collections. I rather be part of the creative team to improve their products, not create a completely new line from scratch.
I would really enjoy designing packaging, colors, products etc. But I don’t really know how to or what is certain products need & what makes them good. So it would probably be a 2 person job! I’d design, think of new things. & the other person would make the actual makeup lol
not that I want to develope my OWN, but I’d love to work on the creative team of MAC, to help develop new colors/design and packaging. It seems that they do alot of repetitive stuff, so some new blood might be nice, right?
I wouldn’t create a makeup line–it’d be too competitive..you’d have to go up against MAC, MakeupForever, NARS, etc. I would rather create an effective and affordable skincare line. Most skincare doesn’t live up to what it says it does, and the stuff that does is more often than not really expensive, and not everything wants to spend money on serums and things like that. Who knows? Maybe I’ll do it after I get my license in esthetics.
I would love to do a collaboration with an already existing makeup brand- NARS, Benefit, or MAC, which are my fave high-end brands, or Rimmel, e.l.f., or Neutrogena, which are my fave drugstore brands.
I would absolutely LOVE to create a new makeup line…I just wouldn’t know how.
I would probably have alimited veiw and only create products I would use…and not much else
But I would love to be a part of the creative process and help desgin packaging, name colours, new colours (make my own dream colours!)and maybe create my own collection…that would be AMAZING!
To be part of a makeup line and have my name on it without taking resposibility for all the other products im not interested in!

I don’t think the fact it’s already a competitive market or that there are X number of brands or Y number of products or Z shades of lipstick would stop me. How long have I searched for the perfect purple eyeliner?! And the ultimate nude lipstick?
And gorgeous packaging (like Anna Sui or Jill Stuart) would be a definite too!
Nope, I’ve found my calling in music. Makeup is a nice playground for me but nothing I’d be comfortable persuing professionally.

Hell yes! I work in the marketing field, so the idea of creating a new concept in the cosmetics industry and coming up with crazy product names à la OPI is totally appealing to me

Yes for sure! It would be a pretty basic and luxurious thing, like the Serge Lutens MU range and all refillable, and with orgnaic stuff in it as far as possible.

I would absolutely love to create a makeup line but I’m sure if I did many people would think it sucked royally. Almost every eyeshadow and lipstick shade would have a gold interference and browns and greys wouldn’t exist because I dislike those the most
Maybe they’d exist if they had a ton of gold in them

I am an Esthetician and make-up artist and already have an established clientele. Having a cosmetic line is something I would like to be able to offer in the near future but I really want to do it big! I have been dremaing for quite some time that I would love to create my own make-up and skincare line! I just don’t know exactly how to go about it or where to begin.
