I'd use the Sephora brush I own, it has white and black bristles and lightly picks up colour so I don't add too much to my cheeks!
I use two different brushes to apply my blush. I use MAC's 168 and MAC's 187 when I want more of a sheer finish

I apply blush with Mac 168 angle brush and blend it out with Sephora HD liquid foundation brush (can also be use for powder product).
I have this old raggedy cheapo brush that I use, I haven't been able to find a better blush brush, and I have tried everything.
I love using blush with my Angled Brush by bareMinerals and the baraMinerals kabuki =) @invisibletears on Twitter
