Winters in NYC are kind of flip flop. One day its below freezing and the next day its 55 degrees — I never know how to dress! The way I keep warm in the winter is layers. I wear tons of layers too keep warm, and if it gets to warm, I’ll remove a cardigan or my scarf!

I spent a lot of time standing on my floor registers! And I have a heated mattress pad, which I use along with flannel sheets. When I’m so cold that even that doesn’t work, I sip a hot chocolate with a little bit of Bailey’s Irish Cream and peppermint schnapps.

Wearing a thermal shirt under all of my tops, a pair of sock and curling up under a throw with a hot mug of tea or apple cider is how I like to stay warm. There is nothing more perfect than that on a colder winter’s day. As for how to keep warm outdoors, I’ve yet to find a way.

Winter is pretty much the same as summer when you live on a Caribbean island. I don’t have to struggle to keep warm. I do love winter, though. I was born on a snowy December day in Georgia and have always appreciated the chilly winter months. Two words: sweaters and hot chocolate.
I stay warm in the winter by wearing 3 layers of clothing.
I keep warm this winter by drinking tons of coffee
and wearing my favorite jacket 
I use an electric blanket, lol.
I keep warm by wearing cute sweaters! CA doesn’t get all that cold so I never need more than jeans and a sweater. Maybe sometimes on my down days sweats and a hoodie!

I keep warm by having a very warm coat, and usually a scarf I made. Of late I get too warm, so I end up opening it up, which sorta defeats the whole purpose, but trying to stay comforatble is very important!

I just love playing in the snow with my kids but when I come home all I want is my fireplace and a hot chocolate milk. That’s how I get through winter.
Well, I snuggle up with my real bunny, Pepe. He’s not really like most rabbits, he jumps up in bed with me and likes to sleep next to me. Okay, I have to grab him and pin him down because otherwise I won’t get my snuggles. I also like to just stay at home and watch HGTV and the Food Network and drink hot tea since or read a good book.

Moving to NY from SF – CA 4 yrs ago was a big change in terms of adjusting cold weather. To adjust to the new temperatures in winter, I wear ugg boots, wool sweaters and coats, cashmere gloves, scarf and a hat and a cup of Starbucks pumpkin spice latte

Layers, layers, layers! A nice warm drink always helps as well.
Well when I’m outside I stay warm by putting on my leggings or my fave PINK sweats and a long sleeve tshirt with either my black or brown uggs. If staying indoors, I turn up the heater and cover up and watch movies while sipping on either hot cocoa or hot tea with honey.
I keep warm in the winter with a winter coat that i got last year, drinking lots of hot chocolate or coffee and wearing tons of different kinds of boots! I love boots for the winter!

we don’t have a freezing winter in san diego but sometimes it can be really cold and nights are usually pretty chilly. i keep warm with boots, sweaters, warm coats, hot drinks especially coffee and my boyfriend

I come from the caribbean and had to learn how to dress propperly in the cold weather. Ironically I can tolerate very cold temperatures without really feeling cold, can´t stand cashmere because makes me sweat….but wearing too light clothes in the winter can make you sick…several sore throats, one time bronchitis….so, lesson learned: LAYERS, you can take the light jacket or cardigan off if it turns too warm. SCARF: always use a scarf, keep your neck warm!
BOOTS: Pumps are cute but this is not the best time to wear them, at least not when it is really cold, having cold feet is like an invitation for a flu. Now I look cools ´cause I have my scarft always on, I ´m not trying to be chic…..just my throat is my weak point in the winter.
I go outside and run. I love to get outside and run in the cold weather – it warms me up in no time. Makeup enhances my looks, but working out enhances my body. I love Fall and Winter.

Having fibromyalgia I have to be careful of draughts, so I have hooded cardigans, hot water bottles and a big snuggly fleece blanket oh and don’t forgert the ned socks lol :0) xxxJoolsxxx
