  1. Brielle

-Apply Hey Shadow all over lid
-Apply Bronze shadow to crease and blend
-Apply Expensive Pink Shadow to outer 1/2
    -Apply Mylar to browbone
-Apply Cubic Blush to lower apples up to temples with a 129
    -Apply Underage Lipglass to lips

  2. Marlie

I recently purchased this eyeshadow and I love it! I like the following look:

-MAC Hey Eyeshadow all over the lid (including inner corners and up to the brow bone)
-MAC Da Bling Eyeshadow slightly in the increase and outer 3/4 of lids
-MAC Free To Be Eyeshadow blended well in the cross and brushed slightly on outer V of the lid
-Any gold eyeshadow (a more true gold than Hey) added slightly to the inner corner, brow bone and on the bottom lash line
-Use your favourite mascara on top and lightly on bottom lashes (I pair Cliniques Lash Doubling Mascara in black with MACs Plushlash Mascara in Plus Black.
-Use whichever foundation you like, with a bit of bronzer for a sun-kissed glow. Pair with a pretty light pink or peachy blush (I use Mark Just Pinched Cheek Tint in Cheeky and MAC Well Dressed)
    – For lips I like to pair MAC Angel lipstick with MAC Creemsheen Glass in Partial to Pink

As you could probably tell, I enjoy the pinky/coraly eye for a summery/beachy bronzed look. At first I wasn’t sure about pairing these 3 eyeshadows together but I quite enjoy it when I finished playing around with it!

    – apply Hey eyeshadow all over lid

    – finish off with navy blue eye liner smudged out a tad
-shroom on the brow bone for highlight
    -cantaloupe blush on the cheeks
-smile dazzle glass on the lips

    ta da!

-Apply Hey ES all over lid
-Use Shroom ES as an inner corner highlight
-Contour crease of eye with Satin Taupe ES
    -Stubborn Brown eye liner
    -Supernova Mascara
-Pink Swoon Blush to apples of cheek
    -Boybait Creamsheen all over lips
    thats my everyday look. 😀

  6. Nina

I use Hey shadow in the inner corners as a highlight, with Sin eyeshadow by UD all over the lid, and Chopper eyeshadow by UD in the crease. Then MAC fluidline in Blacktrack, Lancome Hypnose mascara, MAC Lady Gaga Viva Glam on lips with Revlon’s Peach Petal lipgloss. For cheeks I’d use Benefit’s Dandelion.

  7. This is my new fav e/s. I use prepped for Glamour in the crease and feathered on the outer lid. Buckwheat with a pencil brush etched into the crease and outer v. Girlie to blend out the prepped for glamour right above the crease and vanilla as a highlight. Putting Hey on the lid and inner tear duct. :)

  8. Carrie

I’d wear Hey with a shade like Mulch, Saddle or Cork in the crease and a navy blue eyeliner. I’d use Benefit’s Coralista or MAC’s Shell Pearl on my cheeks and a lipstick like Ever Hip, Peachstock or Dressmaker, Dressmaker. If I wanted to go w/ a Lipglass, I’d use Frankly Fresh or Perennial High Style.

  9. Lauren

    -HEY e/s on lid
    -Woodwinked e/s in crease
-buxom eyeliner in the brown colour-slight cat eye
-cargo bronzer- all over areas that would normally get a tan
-well dressed blush on my cheeks
    -frankly fresh lipglass

  10. Erin

    Shroom as h/l
    Patina in crease
    Clinique Chocolate Lustre creamshaper
Nudish blush (MAC Buff) on cheeks
    MAC Hug Me on lips

I’ve used Hey many times as a wash, and it creases every single time. I use UDPP, and have worn many eyeshadows in the same formulation without a problem. Trying to figure out this one….

  12. Well, I would like to introduce myself. I’m a MakeUp Artist & I’m really into smokey looks….I would wear a Paint Pot in Fresco Rose or Painterly all over the lid with a MAC 217 brush, then I would apply the MAC Hey eyeshadow all over the lid with a MAC 239 brush. On the brow bone, I would wear MAC eyeshadow in Blanc Type, Haux eyeshadow on the crease & Folie eyeshadow on the outer crease (lesser/greater than symbol ). That’s one look….& if I wanted a nice look for the evening or night, I’ll add MAC eyeshadow in Nehru on the outer crease instead of the Folie eyeshadow….I have more options on how to wear MAC eyeshadow in Hey!! I wrote down my website, however, I’m still working on my webpage. Soon it will be complete!! Thank you for your time!! Muah!! Hencys4Beauty

  13. cass

Hmmm looks like I need to pick up hey after all! :]

  14. calico

Oh pls tell me that they are re releasing this! I got mine in my fafi quad and I am mad about it!

  15. LAURA

If i was using Hey eyeshadow I would first prime with PAINTERLY PP use HEY all over the lid, on the crease use wedge or cork and on the outer corner I would use sketch. I would line it with MAC Fluidline in Black.
FACE- MAC matte cream, Studio Fix Fluid, seal it with MSF natural.
    CHEEKS-Intant Chick
    Highlight-Refined MSF
    Lips-Color me coral &lipgloss

I do this same look for the eyes. It’s my quick and easy everyday eye. Some times I use a pearlglide liner like Rave or Fly-By-Blu in the lower lash line for a little extra color. I love Hey e/s! I’m so glad MAC has re promoted it.

  16. Sarah M

I used to hate this eye shadow. I have no idea why… but now I adore it. It’s great as a light wash of colour from lashline to browbone, with some winged out black liner and any lip colour; neutral or bold. The most recent look i did with this was hey eye shadow on the eye lid and lower lash liner, deep purple pigment blended into the inner and outer corners of the eyes, feline kohl power eye pencil on upper lashline and lower waterline, set with carbon eye shadow, mylar eyeshadow on the arch of the brow, loads of black mascara. pink swoon powder blush on the apples of the cheeks (i think!?), blankety lipstick with fuchsia fix tinted lip conditioner over the top. For some night time partying with my girls, I added crystalled purple glitter over the purple on the inner corners of the eyes, # 7 lashes, and changed the lip colour for petals & peacocks. :-)

  17. Holly-Rae

I would apply the Hey e/s over the lid and then contour the eye with a matte navy or purple colour. I think the contrast of colour and texture would really help to make the combo unique and fresh looking.

  18. Michele

Lately I’ve been loving this quick look…for my Asian eyes :)
Bamboom paints all over the inner lid
Hey in the inner corners using the pointy end of my 272 brush
Cork in the crease, blending with my 224 brush
Coco Bar Liquidblast liner, smudged with my 219 brush
Sable applied over the liner using the 219 brush to blend into the rest of the look
I curl my lashes and apply 2-3 coats of Covergirl Waterproof Marathon Mascara (its the only mascara I’ve found that will hold the curl all day and night)

  19. Rachael

I’m trying to decide if I want to get this e/s or not. Is there a good dupe for it, or should I get it?

    • Kharina

If you don’t already have it from the FAFI quad, then I suggest you get it. It is soooo smooth and applies like butter! You could also use it as a brow highlighter which is another plus. Conviced yet?? 😉

  20. Catherine

    I love
Hey – all over lid and just a bit to highlight
Woodwinked – on the outer half and a little on the crease
Cut to Fit – blended into the crease
Tarte Park Avenue Princess on the cheeks
Fresh Salmon LS on the lips
    So pretty : )

  21. )Megan

I just bought Hey recently & I love it.
1st: Apply hey all over the lid
2nd: Apply Humid on the outer corners
3rd: Apply Embark in the crease & blend!
4th: Apply Hey as a brow highlight!
Then a few coats of mascara, some eyeliner & youre done.

  22. Leenie

I’m wearing hey right now, I used coral crepe paint pot then I put hey on my lid and for my crease I used saddle and on my v I used beauty marked on my lips I put on grape tini lipstick by milani & nyx gold mauve lip gloss & superdupernatural blush

  23. Jen

I used coral crepe pp and Hey e/s over it, simple look but nice!

Now that that’s out of the way, here’s what I do with it.

    1. I apply it all over the lid as a wash.
    2. Hey on lid to brow bone with Fig. 1 in the crease
    3. Hey on lid to brow with Soft Brown in the crease
    4. Hey on lid to brow bone with Deep Brown pigment in the crease/outer V
    5. Hey on lid with ANYTHING in the crease. It’s gorgeous!

  25. mileena

I grabbed the last hey at my local mac store. I’ve been wearing it over coral crepe paint pot with a brown eyeliner and dressmaker dressmaker on the lips. Love it!

  26. Look 1: Apply all over the lids, line the eyes with a black/brown liner. Gently dab Hey on the lower lash line too. Bronzer on the cheeks. Buff-colored lipstick or may be Stila Kitten lip gloss.

Look 2: Apply all over lids, and a dark colored eyeshadow (blue, brown, purple) on the outer corners of the eyes. Line the eyes with black liner or any liner that matches the dark colored eyeshadow used.
    Peach/Coral blush. Pink/Coral lips.

  27. DoDe

    Hey on lid
    sorcery on crease

  28. KC

I’m in love with Hey Eyeshadow. I like to keep it simple with Hey. Hey all over the lid, with either Antiqued or Bateau in the crease, or with any reddish brown colour in the crease. Paired with Blacktrack Fluidline, mascara with a bold lip like Petals and Peacocks.

  29. Michelle

I use hey all the time!! Today I have it on my lid, with haux in the crease and satin taupe over haux with some brule as my highlight. I have bobbi brown’s pot rouge in powder pink on my cheeks, and laura mercier’s blush lipgloss on. It’s my new go-to look!! :-)

  30. Eva

It looks really well with Howzat (the dark blue-grey from the same Fafi quad) to line and a pinkish shadow applied in the crease. I actually like using the whole quad it was originally released in (Fafi 1, right?). :o)

  31. Rosa Napoleon

I have never heard of Hey, but I think I will be picking this eyeshadow up in the near future. Is this a satin eyeshadow?

  32. Megan

    Hey inner half of lid
urban decay YDK second half of lid
    outer V with MAC espresso
    a bright pink lip
bright peachy pink cheeks (ex: NARS orgasm blush)

  33. Sofie

-Bare Study paint pot on the lid
-Hey eye shadow all over the lid
-Prepped for Glamour OR Shale on the crease

I am thinking about buying All That Glitters, but I’ve heard that Hey and All That Glitters are almost dupes to one another. Maybe you could upload a swatch of the two colors? :-)
