My favourite use was: the beige shade of Chanel Prelude all over the lid, the taupe-brown one in the crease, the lighter shade as a highlighter and the darker as a liner (over MUFE black Aqua Eye pencil). I also used Chanel Rose Initiale on cheeks, my Chanel Caprice l’Extrait de gloss on the lips, and Guerlain Cruel Gardenia as a highlighter!

  2. Nice look for spring! I wore this week a spring-look too, although it was very cold here. Wore a bright pink lip. http://www.emmawessels.nl/looks/bright-pink-lips-for-winter/

  3. My favorite look this week was actually very simple. I think because I normally wear so much makeup giving myself a bit of a makeunder was a welcome change. I wore BB cream, Tarte waterproof concealer where I need it set with a little translucent powder, no eyeshadow, mascara on top lashes only Too Faced Cinnamon Kiss lipstick

My favorite look from myself was the last time a very colorful neon look this one: http://www.unlike-girl.com/2013/01/neon-eyes.html

Mostly : Kiko cream blush in ” Pink Kiss ” + M.A.C Haute Altitude. I also tried UD Basics palette ( I didn’t intend to buy it but I finally did because I very often wear bold red lipsticks, so it’s good to wear nude eyemakeup + red lippies, more classy ), this palette is good. I also tried my ” own ” palette by Sephora ( new collection Colourful, 77 shades and 4 textures ), amazingly good ( long wearing without a primer and I chose 3 pink shades ) far much better than M.A.C eyeshadows, quite expensive too around 36 € for a trio but great pigments, and pretty pan indeed ).
On my toes : Sally Hansen Plum’s the World so easy to wear.

I did a look for work this week that I liked alot.
I used UD Naked Skin foundation and a little Hot Mama blush. For the eyes, I used MAC Arena on the lid, Juiced in the crease, Saddle in the outer V, Vanilla on the brow and a thin line of Feline along my upper lashes. LOreal Voluminous lashes (my fave) and some LUSH lip balm and good to go. I loved how the colors made my blue eyes so much bluer.

    Mine was very bright!
I used some colors in my Make Up For Ever flash color palette as a color base, then I put MAC Bitter on the inner third, MAC Aquadisiac in the middle, and NARS Outremer/ MAC Atlantic Blue (I can’t remember what one I actually used) on the outer third, MUFE #92 (dark purple) in the crease and blended it out with MAC Stars n Rockets. All of my makeup this week has looked awful. I think my best look has been before bed with no makeup and freshly moisturized skin. The beginning of the week was ridiculously cold, so my face just went dry and flaky and dull within an hour.
Clinique Moisture Surge Intense has been wonderful.

Because it’s been so cold, I’ve been wearing liquid foundation – it seems to provide an additional “protective layer” between my skin and the elements. I’ve been wearing Clarins Skin Illusion. Eyes – my beloved MAC Sweet Satisfaction paired with the dark side of Bare Minerals “The Escape” on the outer V and smudged into the base of my upper lashes. GOSH Metallic Brass pencil under lower lashes. MAC Frankly Scarlet on my cheeks and Clarins Grenadine Jolie Rouge lipstick.

  10. I’ve been playing around with Coastal Scents eyeshadows this week. My favorite look is Frosty Taupe blended from the lash line to right below the brow bone, Vanilla Sky under the brow, Raisin Berry in the crease, and a bit of Vibrant Red peeking out by the top lash line. It’s a little edgy, a little vampy, but I really loved how it turned out!

I wrote a short tutorial with photos:

  11. Very pretty look! I love the combination of purple/ plum and gold.

I did an entire work week using Guerlain palettes, just to see what I could come up with. I think my favourite was using the Bois de Roses palette with Nars Amour on my cheeks and Chanel Intrigue glossimer. Definitely a look I’ll be using again.

  12. I love Glinda on you! All in all I prefer Theodora, but Glinda for sure delivers a soft and pretty look!

This week my favorite look is a very toned-down one with Burberry Pale Barley and Bobbi Brown Wheat on my eyes, Diorblush Sugar & Spice on my cheeks, and Chanel Fantasque Rouge Allure on my lips. I was so pleasantly surprised that Fantasque doesn’t wash me out!

Gosh I don’t even remember, I wore makeup every day this week…
Maybe this one because it was subtle but really pretty:

    Face: Bare Minerals Matte Foundation
Cheeks: Tarina Tarantino Dollskin Cheek in Neopolitan Lane
Eyes: Mac Bare Study Paint Pot, in crease Bourjois Paris eyeshadow in brown, under brow Mac Soft Ochre Paint Pot, Mac Zoom Lash Mascara
Lips: Buxom Big and Healthy Lip Polish in Debbie

  14. I wore Armani Purpura as a wash, blended out with Burberry Trench – so simple, but I thought it was a really pretty look.

  15. blueraccoon

I’m cheating a bit – my favorite look was the one the MUA gave me at the Burberry counter. Velvet foundation, Hydrangea Pink blush, and Pale Gold eyeshadow with Pale Barley for contour and Porcelain White for highlight. (I may be wrong on the pale gold name; it’s the one they’re promoting with this launch).

The one I did myself, which I also liked: Tarte BB tinted primer, Burberry Cameo blush, Tarte Gold smolderEYES pencil as eyeshadow and Burberry brown mascara. I just wish it had lasted longer :(

  16. Gorgeous, Christine!! *sigh* I NEED that Rockstar liner soo bad!!

  17. Jade

I’ve been embracing taupes and neutrals this week, and at night I’ve been smoking out my lash lines with feline, using whatever taupe eyeshadow or brown is within reach. I’m really liking the simplicity!

  18. I re-liked my orange & purple smokey combo I was wearing for new year’s – it doesn’t always have to be glitter and false lashes no? :)
