    Pretty!

This week I became slightly obsessed with my new L’oreal Infallible eyeshadow in Amber Rush. It’s such a pretty, flattering rose-gold kinda color, and the formula is amazingg- can’t believe I didn’t try it sooner!
    Today’s look with it-
Eyes- nars primer, L’oreal Infallible Amber Rush on the lid, UD Naked in the crease, UD Buck in the outer crease. Black liner on the inner rims and upper lashline, set with Sugarpill Bulletproof. UD Darkhorse smudged over the top liner, in the outer V, and the lower lashline. UD Vanilla for highlight and lots of mascara.

Lips- L’oreal Fairest Nude with NYX Sugar Pie gloss on top.

Face- Too faced primed and poreless, Skin79 Super Gold Plus Vip bb cream, Kat Von D tattoo concealer, Rimmel stay matte powder, Benefit Hoola to contour, theBalm Down Boy blush, theBalm Mary Lou-manizer to highlight.

  2. That was a lovely look indeed :-) My favorite look of the week was the one I did yesterday to go clubbing. A green smokey eye with a hint of leafy green under the lower lash line!

I tried a very good L’Oréal lipstick ( 295 ) exclusive to Sephora here, highly pigmented and really amazing. Again I put my Kiko eyeshadows on the lids ( single and quads ) amazingly beautiful and I backed up 4 quads which is very unusual by me, as for the blushes mainly Chanel Tumulte, Benefit Bad Gal in blue ( I had to throw it away because it was really old maybe 2 years and Benefit discontinued this great product !), I also tried a Kiko mascara in black which is good, on my toes Chanel Rouge Carat + a Kiko glitter nail polish and before that an Essie gold metallic as a base + OPI Goldeneye.

It’s nice. I would have loved to see the whole look. When I see you with a natural eye on this feature, I always wonder what did you pair it with.

I did a very simple look that turned out great this week:

Eyes: Bobbi Brown Powder Pearl in Pink Pearl over the lid, Black Gel Eyeliner on the upper lash line (I used L’oreal Infallible Laquer, which was terrible and will be returned to the store), L’oreal Voluminous mascara in Carbon Black

Face: Bobbi Brown BB Cream, Bobbi Brown Loose Powder, Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer.

Cheeks: Bobbi Brown blush in Blushed

Lips: Bobbi Brown Lip Color in Nude

  5. Love the look! That liner is LOVELY :)

This week my favorite look is done with Dior Rose Poudre (the eyeshadows), Diorblush Pink Happiness, and Too Faced Perfect Red Perfect Lips:

A very simple look with Le Metier de Beaute Jojo on the the lid, MAC Wedge + MAC Mystery in the crease, MAC Carbonized in the outer v and lower lash line, MAC Blanc Type on the brow bone. Tom Ford Lovelust blush and Cle de Peau Extra Silky Lipstick #129.

  7. That eye liner again (envious noises)… I also love the depth you’ve given your crease in that look!

My favourite look this week involved Chanel RC Baroque, one of the shades that finally made me reconsider hating brown lipsticks. I paired it with pink/ plum shades on the eye- LMdB Complice, Mac Star Violet, LMdB Fire Lily and Mac Deep Damson, plus UD Underground eye liner. I used Nars Outlaw blush with my brand new Yachiyo brush, which I’m completely in love with at the moment.

You can see the end result here (it’s the first look): http://morelikespace.blogspot.ca/2012/12/making-faces-how-i-learned-to-stop.html

It’s amazing how finding a colour that really works can make you interested in a whole family of shades you’d never considered before. Or perhaps it’s just me…

That’s a lovely look! Will you be reviewing the Armani Quads?

My favoritr look this week was pretty simple: MAC paint pot in Indianwood as base. MAC Sweet Satisfaction over that with a bit of MAC Saddle in the crease and MAC Stubborn Brown just to define the upper lashes. CoverGirl LashBlast mascara and Benefit brow zings in medium complete eyes.

Face: i mixed BB Oil free tm in Medium with MAC Prolongwear NC35 (need to mix bc I’m between both colors right now) with MAC Posey on cheeks and set everything with LM translucent powder.

    Lips: MAC Looks like sin

More envious noises here over that 5 a.m. liner – how gorgeous! I used my TooFaced Smokey Eye palette (the newer one) – the 2 colours in the top row, both of which I just love. Cloves all over the lid and into the crease also and then I darkened the outer crease with Up in Smoke. Gosh Metallic Brass pencil to line, MAC Desert Rose blush and Revlon lip butter in Cherry Tart on my lips. All this talk of highlighter over the past few days had me pulling out Mary Lou Manizer to highlight my cheekbones very lightly.

Discovered Dr. Jart Black Premium Label BB Cream – $36. Just awesome, and compared to a very good one, too – BB in “light” which is $42. Dr. Jart is SPF 25, just the min for me, though I am never really in the sun, but it’s got a thick texture and so I do believe that SPF is really up there, at least to SPF 20. Good enough. THIS is an awesome product, for ref I tried BB BB cream in light (Bobbi Brown), am an NC25, kind of common, and this does in fact morph to your skin shade if you are probably, IMO, between NC or NW (it is a neutral, no pink and no noticeable yellow re Nars St. Moritz) 15-35. Sephora rep explained technology, I don’t know, but coverage is more than Nars TM for sure, and a bit more than BB BB cream and much more than BB TM.

Mine was a fairly classic look for my husband’s work Christmas party. I wore Illamasqua Skin Base foundation with Art Deco Dita Von Teese Powder, Mac Stunner and Mac Lightscapade on my face. On eyes I wore MAC Painterly as a base, Vanilla as a wash, Dazzlelight on brow bone and inner corners, Glamour Check lightly in the crease and smudged over Orpheus eye kohl to line, Showstopper just lightly to define the outer v and lots of black mascara. On my lips I used OCC Super NSFW lip tar.

I’ve been playing with my new palette.. the Sephora/Pantone precious metals. Really nice shadows, I highly suggest it if you like mostly earth tones with a touch of color here and there. Mostly shimmer, a few mattes, and one glitter. Haven’t heard anyone talk about it.. got it when I took my UD Vice palette back and I’m much happier with it. My favorite look so far is a silver/grey eye.

I almost grabbed that palette last night, but I’m *really* trying to put a limit on my eyeshadow spending… It’s absolutely gorgeous, but I have way too much (and I’ve picked up several large palettes in the last few months), so I can’t personally justify it for myself, although I did have to talk myself out of it. I would also recommend giving it a look.

Nails – got a wonderful new nail polish from a-England called ‘She Walks In Beauty’. It is a true beauty, one of the prettiest I’ve seen. Gold with rose glitter. Gorgeous!
