  1. Beautiful! I wish I could pull of blue shades like that. I find it has to be a very specific shade of blue or else I look really off.

Isn’t Bad to the Bronze a great shadow? It is so versatile and also so quick and easy to use if you’re in a rush….so uncomplicated with great results and so reliable! I looked at your pick and it’s lovely!

what a pretty eyeshadow look :)

  5. I’m not even big on blue but I love how the quad looks on you!

This week my favorite look is done with the Bobbi Brown Rich Caviar palette (part of the holiday collection). I used Olive Sparkle on the inner half of my lids, Black Topaz on the outer half, Bone to highlight my brow bones, Wheat to blend the edges out a bit, Candlelight on my inner corners, and Rich Caviar on my lower lash line. I love how effortless and well-thought-out this palette is!

  6. That look is beautiful on you and it makes me frustrated, but at the same time relieved that we don’t have a proper distributor of TF in Canada. Because I know that I’d never be able to resist that quad, even though those sorts of shades don’t work all that well on my eyes.

Kinda off-topic, but I had to say that most people apply blue eyeshadow(s) in a way that looks trashy but you pulled it off very well with that quad.

  8. OMG that teal liner is SO beautiful! It’s extremely smooth-looking and pigmented and a gorgeous true-teal color! Love that!

  9. Kristabelle

    Love those colors on you!

My favorite was what I’m wearing today…based on pixi2woo’s Pretty Little Liars Hanna look. Super easy and looks effortless. Gave me an excuse to use my gorgeous new rose gold brush set from Sephora.

Eyes- tfsi, UD Naked as crease blending color, UD virgin all over the lid, on the browbone and inner corner, UD Buck in the crease. Black gel pencil liner smudged along the upper lashline, smudged out with UD Hustle. Same black on the inner rims, slightly smoked out with Buck and a touch of Hustle on the lower lashline. Finished with a bit of theBalm Mary Lou-manizer on the browbone and inner corner and lots of mascara.

Lips- Revlon Peach Parfait lip butter with NYX Beige (bubble gum pink) gloss on top.

Face- too faced primed and poreless, skin79 super gold plus bb cream, maybelline super stay 24 hour concealer, physician’s formula covertox 10 powder, benefit hoola to contour, theBalm down boy blush, theBalm Mary lou-manizer to highlight.

I’ve been having a renewed love affair with MAC Copperplate, which has been at the back of my cabinet, slightly forgotten, for quite some time. Twice this week, I did a simple and quick, somewhat smokey eye with Copperplate all over the lid and blended up into the crease and a bit beyond and then blended out toward the browbone and into my highlight colour (MAC Shroom) with UD Naked. I’ve been using Conjure Up blush on my cheeks (it’s a LE Mineralized Blush from quite a few years ago) and MAC Total Wow (also LE) on my lips.

  11. Eyes: MAC Groundwork paint pot, MAC Woodwinked e/s (creased and faded so badly on me! Did anyone else experience this?), Milani Easyliner for Eyes in Espresso, Essence All About Eyes mascara.

Cheeks: Milani Baked Blush in Berry Amore.

    Lips: NARS Fire Down Below.

  12. Dinitchka

I love me some blue e/s!!! I am torn to buy the palette or wait to see if another palette will come out for the holidays. I’ll prob be kicking myself to skip it!

This is a beautiful look Christine!

BTW … Did you see where Tom and his partner adopted a baby?

Blues are amazing :D my favourite look this week was the Bare Escentuals Ready Eyshadow Duo in The Last Call (http://www.temptalia.com/bare-escentuals-the-last-call-ready-eyeshadow-duo-review-photos-swatches) on my lids, with On The Rocks on the inner lid and Shaken Not Stirred on my outer lid, then blended up and out. On my lower lash line I used a little bit of Feline Kohl Power, blended out with Shaken Not Stirred using a pencil brush. Then I lined my upper lash line with Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner in Blackest Black, which is a MAC Fluidline Blacktrack dupe! Though by the time I use it up I’m expecting that they will have discontinued it, so I’ll go back to using Blacktrack. I finished with Plushlash mascara. On cheeks I used NYX Powder Blush in Natural, and on lips I used MAC Lipglass in Viva Glam VI. I would use a different lip colour next time, I’m still hunting for my perfect nude or MLBB!

  14. Hope

Bobbi Brown loose powder in golden-orange
    Stila bronzing powder
    Cover girl rose silk blush
    Nars Albatross highlighter
Bobbi Brown longwear gel eye liner
    Urban Decay eye pencil
    E.L.F. HD powder

I bought a pile of L’Oreal Infallible shadows, all the neutrals, and my god are they amazing! It started with one to dupe MAC for Marilyn, on the budget. Blew that! But worth it- and at my house purples are neutrals so all four Marilyn’s may have been the bargain.

What great make up though! And I got a Color Tatoo pot in gold which dupes that LE MAC Paint Pot I didn’t buy, so this week has been that for a base and experimenting with the Infallible neutrals. I look like a prosperous well dressed Woman Of A Certain Age, so pleased with that recommendation Christine! Thank you.

With Wet n Wild lipsticks that don’t bleed into those teeny lines… Need to re apply often but every three hours is what you do at fifty anyway. My perfect nude is 99 cents, 547 B. Finally! I found it. Her Own Devices Cruella Beauty Powder. Revlon Color Stay with Smashbox Luminizer mixed in.
