I love this look! It’s colourful, but very tasteful and understated. You look beautiful!

  2. That’s such a pretty look Christine!

My favorite look this week was simple, but turned out really well. One the eyes, I did a wash of UD Deeper on the lid, blended out with Guerlain Parure de Nuit as a browbone highlight. I lined with black eyeliner.

Lips were Wet n Wild silk finish lipstick in Cinnamon!

    I have pictures here:

Beautiful !! Will you be reviewing the Tom Ford quad??

  4. Really a lovely look Christine! Especially in combination with your cardigan. I made a smokey eye look this week, in combination with golden and purple colors. I used products from Bobbi Brown, Dr.Hauschka and Lavera.

  5. Melody

What a lovely look! Is that a new MUFE foundation? The finish on it is very pretty.

  6. aradhana

nice look…everything is colourful and fun, yet looks very polished.

  7. Carrie

Wow–so pretty!! I’d love to see you do a really dark, black, smoky-eyed look!!

  8. Dominique

What a subtle and pretty look !
Today, well : Hervana from Benefit, They’re real from Benefit too and the 5 eyeshadows from Dior Garden Pastels, I only used 3 eyeshadows. A spring look ! No lipstick or gloss.

  9. I did a really pretty blue look with Makeup Geek Neptune, Sugarpill Poison Plum, and Benefit Fancy Pansy.

  10. WhaT a beautiful look. I really love what you did on the lower lash line. Colorful but not clownesque!

  11. I love your look. :)

My favorite look this week was yesterday’s. I used the Wet ‘n’ Wild Comfort Zone palette and applied the shades from the left side of the palette (except for the browbone shade) for a neutral eye with Urban Decay Sin as a base and Urban Decay Virgin as a highlight. Then I applied liquid liner (no wing) for some definition, Rimmel GlamLash mascara, and e.l.f. blush in Candid Coral. The focus of the look was the lip, Maybelline’s Yummy Plummy, which is a pretty, neutral plum that happened to match my top perfectly. :)

  12. I REALLY love your eyes, especially the combination of Spark of Envy and El Dorado! It’s a genius combination!

For this week, I was playing around with NARS Paramaribo, so I used that for my eyes (lighter shade on the inner half, darker on the outer and also used to smudge Urban Decay Bourbon on my lower lash line out). Tarte Blissful and Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Bronze on cheeks, Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Soft Matte Bronzer to contour, and Guerlain Coque d’Or Rouge Automatique on lips!

I got quite a kick out of it! If you’re interested in seeing some pictures, here they are:

  13. I really love the finish of your face makeup–what’s responsible, the foundation or one of the powders?

  14. Kimberly

those colors are beautiful on you!

  15. snm

I loved how all the colors worked great together!
This week was “no makeup” make up for me.But today I did a sultry winter look with Nars- sin blush,Guerlain nuit d’amour on lips. For eyes,I wanted to go natural with mac-era and shroom shadows since the cheek and lip combo was bold enough.I used Perles Imperiales on highlight areas.

  16. I’m currently wearing a wash of Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bold Gold on my lids and inner tear ducts. I lined my eyes with UD’s Zero, flaring the line as it went out. On my lips I did an ombre lip with MAC’s Smoked Purple and Violetta and on my cheeks I’m wearing Vintage Grape. I like how it looks. :)

  17. Joanne

Wow, Christine! Your skin looks amazing here, totally flawless!!

My favorite look was pretty simple because most of my time is spent in school.
I wore Skinfood’s Peach Sake BB Cream (really really awesome for combination skin that doesn’t need too much coverage)
    Shu Uemura’s Gel Concealer
    Chanel Illusion D’Ombre in Illusoire
    Nyx black Glossy Pencil Liner
    Shiseido Mascara
Maybelline Coral Blossom Blush from the Spring collection
    and YSL Rouge Volupte 23

My favorite was based off a MUG tutorial (sheesh, I reallyy need to start coming up with looks myself.)

Lips- NYX Pure Nude lipstick, NYX Sugar Pie gloss.

Face- Too Faced Primed and Poreless, MUFE Mat Velvet+ foundation, kat von d tattoo concealer, benefit hoola to contour, NXY Peach blush, UD sin as highlight.

Hey there Christine! Your makeup is always stunning, amazing, refreshing and has me on the move to my Sephora once a week. I’m 34, and i have, for the most part been pretty good with skincare; however, my face has never looked as glowing and smooth as yours does.
Please share your skincare secrets/tips. I apologize in advance if they are already in here, I’m new to your site.

    thanks again!

  20. Dude! I’m getting ready to film my review on that EXACT eyeshadow quad tonight! I’d challenge you to a race but I think you’d win… LOL!

  21. Veronica

I get the feeling you’re quite fond of Tarina Tarantino’s Spark of Envy liner. :) Very cute.

Very light looks this week. This I wore out drinking with friends last night.

Face: Maybelline FIT foundation 115, NARS Angelika blush on cheeks, Sephora bronzer in Aruba

Eyes: Urban Decay Virgin across lid, UD Buck in outer corner into crease, theBalm’s Matt Smith on brow

Lips: Dior Addict Lip Glow balm in 001

  22. Mariella

Decided to pull out some shadows I haven’t worn in ages…MAC Vex all over the lid, MAC Memorabilia in the crease, outer corner and under my lower lashes. Black pencil liner from Gosh. Dollymix on my cheeks and Sweetie on my lips. I really want to get one of the Tarina Tarantino liners since reading about how much you like them.

  23. Kathy S.

Christine, you look good in plum!

This week I played with pinks and peaches with my Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze as a base. I liked MAC’s Expensive Pink shadow on the lid with a pinky brown on my hood (no crease – why pretend?) This looked nice and understated, but still unusual because of the pink. I was carefull to use dark tightlining and extremely black mascara to make the pinks pop. I used Tarte’s Amused blush in a light application and MAC’s Please Me lipstick.

  24. Jaime R

Whoa! Christine, your skin looks amazing in this shot. Is that the foundation that you normally wear? Or are you doing something different with your skincare routine at all? Gorgeous!

  25. Justine

MAC Colour Added sheer on the lid, UD 24/7 liquid liner in Retrograde, Sephora Love Test lipstick

  26. Even by your standards, that’s a really beautiful look. I hope this means you’ll be reviewing some of the Tom Ford quads in the near future?

  27. Charito

Soooo pretty!! You and your makeup!

  28. Christian

Your skin looks AMAZING in this photo! Flawless but not cakey looking 😉 I always look forward to your reviews on foundations!

  29. jami

    oh wow. this is beautiful!!!
