Okay. By all means, I should hate this look – yellow doesn’t always sit well with me, and I’m currently on the outs with dark blues, and usually the only thing that irks me more than one colour I dislike is, well, two colours that I dislike.
But I LOVE this. I have no idea why, but it just works! <3 <3
Aw, thanks Rae!
Pretty!
Thanks, Irene!
That’s pretty! I’m waiting to read your review on that quad.
Over the lid: Maybelline’s Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze (can’t find the end of looks that start with that)
Lid: Circa Plum pigment
Hood (I have a hooded eye): a medium brown matte Accent (at the corner and where my crease would be – used a pencil brush for concentration): L’Oreal’s Infallible Eyeshadow in Purple Obsession
Tighline (necessary for eyes like mine): MAC’s Permaplum
Is anyone else freaky excited about the new drugstore eye products? Wow!
love the maybelline color tattooos!
you look so pretty Christine!!!
Thank you, Alyssa!
Wonderful look, Christine! The colors are gorgeous despite that horrid gray-brown – Thanks for the review!
My favorite look I wore this week was…
Eye:
UDPP
MAC Tweet Me Mega-Metal Eyeshadow on the lid
MAC Soba in the crease
MAC Bronze in the outer v
MAC Amber Lights on the lower lashline
MAC Once Upon a Time in the inner corner
Buxom Lash Mascara
Cheek: A drugstore cream blush in Tarnished Rose that I can’t remember the brand of..
Benefit Hoola Bronzer
Benefit Highbeam
Lip: Lâncome Juicy Tube in Fifth Avenue Frosting (Favorite Lipgloss ever!)
I love those colours on you! It makes the quad tempting even if the grey shade is a washout.
I’ve been trying out products from my first Le Metier de Beaute haul and I have to say that I’m in love. I even managed to combine a few into one look using Chameleon and Fig eye shadows plus Kona lipstick. (Pictures here: http://morelikespace.blogspot.com/2012/02/making-faces-le-metier-de-beaute-je.html) That’s been about my favourite of recent days.
I’ll be happy when the cold weather starts to fade a bit and I don’t have to worry about wind-burned skin and runny eyes every time I leave the house!
It’s a shame, too, because the quad really works well together, and the finishes vary enough to work together, too.
nice job Christine! the look is beautiful!
Thanks, Kimberly!
oh, and i picked up the stila in the moment palette so that’s what i’m wearing today. HIGHLY recommend!
Pretty look!
Thanks, Cat!
I’ve been using my new Naked2 palette and I just love it. For quick and easy, I’ve been wearing Boot Call on the lid with Tease in the crease, darkened a bit with Busted and GOSH Metallic Brass pencil liner. Today, I put Verve all over my lid and used Benefit’s Up in Smoke in the crease with black liner and Verve under my lower lashes. Trying to use up MAC Desert Rose blush and Clarins Rouge Prodige lipstick in a shade I got by mistake (Lilac Pink? Pink Lilac?)
I think this Mac Shop/Cook collection is going to be an easy one for me to pass on! Good thing, as I’m planning on buying some Chanel when my month long “restraint period” is over!
I put together a matte yellow and violet look with purple glitter liner. I used NYX’s Mellow Yellow all over the lid, with Makeup Academy’s Shade 18 in the crease

this looks amazing!
Christine, you’re amazing. You can put on a combination of colors that goes beyond my wildest imagination AND MAKE IT WORK!!! This is beautiful!
For this week, my favorite look is one that I did following Jen from From Head to Toe’s K-pop inspired tutorial. I used first the middle shade of NYX Rock and Roll in a half-moon shape on my lids, and then UD Darkhorse in the same shape closer to my lash line. For my lower lash line, I used the gold side of L’Oreal HiP duo in Gilded, Half Baked in the inner corners, and the outer half of the lower lash line is smoked out with Smog. The eyeliner is in a slightly different shape too (following my natural eye shape instead of winged out). Tarte Blissful on my cheeks, some highlighting with Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Bronze, and a dab of Chanel Rouge Coco Mademoiselle later I was done!
If anyone’s interested in how it turned out, here is a link to my blog post. I also put the link to Jen’s tutorial there

The eye makeup is gorgeous. I really loved the intensity it gave your eyes in the photographs for the Plushglass photos.
Most of this week has been a lot of five minute touch-and-go stuff due to my schedule, but I did manage to pull something simple for Tuesday -
Eyes: Urban Decay Sin on the lid, Sidecar in the crease, Buck in the outer corner running into the crease, theBalm Matt Smith on the brow, Maybelline Stiletto on the lashes.
Face: NARS blush in Angelika (brushed lightly)
Lips: Bobbi Brown in Party Alice
Love the temptalia-site! I can spend an entire evening just reading, watching and drooling
The past two weeks I’we been experimenting with peach-all-over-looks. I think it brings a bit of warmth to my pale winterskin. Exampel:
Eyes: Mac naked pigment as a base all over the lid, the balm – hot mama blush on 2/3 of the lid. Then any warm soft brown in the crease, like Mary Key – chocolate kiss.
Face: Very light scoulpting and a peachy blush, some days hot mama agian, other days Elf – peachy keen or mac creamblend blush – ladyblush
Lips: My fav. peachy lipstick is by a swedish drugstore brand called Viva la Diva, in the color Midnight Queen.
Thank you, Charlotte!
I love the combination Christine!
I’m getting lots of ideas from your color combinations
My favorite makeup this week was a Gossip Girl inspired dark eye make up
I used Urban decay naked2
I combined tease and busted to create a dark eye makeup just like what Blair Waldorf wore on their Valentines day episode.
I paired the dark eyeshadow with a pink lipgloss from smashbox.
