What we're Wearing

What We’re Wearing, Vol. 048

I used NARS Smudgeproof as my eyeshadow base, NARS Douce France eyeshadow trio on the lid and brow bone, Estee Lauder Dramatic Teal on the lower lash line.

What was your favorite look you wore this week?

    So sweet!^^
I guess you’re wearing Bilbao lipstick on lips,or if you’d wear something, would probably be it! :)

  2. I love how you used a pop of different color with the teal liner! Beautiful!

My favorite look that I came up with this week was Virgin from UD packed on the lid, with a warm beige color on the crease (from the O Boticário Purple Disc Trio) and black gel eyeliner (MAC), with a LOT of mascara Bourjois Volumizer) on top and on bottom lashes.

  3. I did a super fun purple smokey eye with a LEOPARD PRINT accent. I used UD 24/7 liners to draw the leopard spots. Take a looksee if you like. :D (http://sara-sayswhat.blogspot.com/2012/01/sara-says-leapin-leopards.html)

This is so silly – I wore a look I really liked on Wed. or Thurs. of this week and thought “I have to remember this” but, of course, I have no idea now what it was! I need to get a little notebook to keep in my bathroom so I can jot these down but, really, it’s mostly an indication that I have way more eye shadow and other makeup than is “normal” (okay, so it’s “normal” around here but not really “normal” in the outside world!)

Love this look Christine! Last night I wore:
MAC Once Upon A Time (le), MAC Soba, MAC Amber Lights over Bobbi Brown Sandy Gold crea
shadow. For Mascara, I used my Buxom Lash. I used a random light pink blush I dont remember the name of as well as a Lancôme Fifth Avenue Frosting juicy tube. Loved it!

  6. I wore a really pretty green lined eye look with a neutral lip and it turned out pretty cool! I think lining eyes with a pop of color is fun.

I hardly wore any make up this week, I mostly went with a fresh-faced nude look, so nothing special at all really.
I just wanted to comment on how amazing this look is! It’s so beautiful, the colours complement each other perfectly :)
I always go for browns and bronzes (my UD Naked palette is my best friend), but this really makes me want to try out something fun and colourful. I just love it!

This week my favorite look was Half Baked on inner third of lid, smog on rest of the lid (with half backed blended over onto it), and twice baked in the crease and a neutral matte highlighter and then a swipe of Whiskey 24/7 eyeliner along the top lash. And covergirl brown mascara to complete. On the bottom lash I used smog along with Urb in the inner 1/3 of the lower lash for a pop of color.

My favorite look this week was super simple, inspired by Jessica Harlow’s ‘No Makeup’ Makeup tutorial.
Eyes: LC candy eyed primer*, MAC Yogurt as a wash from lashline to browbone (would have used Brule but I’m out), MAC Quarry in the crease, MAC Naked Lunch as highlight. Tiny bit of navy blue liner on my upper inner rim and under my lower lashline- hardly noticeable, just to make my eyes look whiter. Mascara and fake lashes (Ardell Demi-wispies).

Face: Too Faced Primed and Poreless, MUFE Mat Velvet+, Kat von D Tattoo concealer, translucent powder. Benefit Hoola to contour, some cheapy light pink blush, theBalm Mary Lou-manizer to highlight.

Lips: theBalm Mai Bebillsbepaid (nude) lipstick, some pink gloss from BE.

Wow, typed out it looks like a lot of makeup for a natural look lol.

aha!! Only day this week I wore makeup.

Cheeks: NYC blush in Park Avenue Pink, Marcelle Holiday face compact (It has two pinks, a pearly white with pink tones and a brown. I used just the lightest pink on cheeks to highlight)

Eyes: The white shade from the Marcelle compact in the inner 1/3 and blended MAC Free to Be over the lid and up to orbital bone, blending all over lid except for the inner 1/4. Smashbox Full Exposure mascara.

Lips: Revlon lip butter in Berry Smoothie

I forgot!! I used MAC’s Raven eye pencil smushed into the roots of the upper lashes, done on the underside. Not really tightlining, but done under the lashes as well.

  12. I’ve been admiring that look of yours through all the Nars Spring reviews you’ve been doing. I really like the unexpected addition of the teal liner.

This week, my favourite look was trying out Mac’s Cloudy Afternoon from Naturally. I was expecting to pass on all the MES but I really liked some of the colours in Naturally. I paired Cloudy Afternoon with Hocus Pocus, which works really well as a combination. Photos are here:

I love what I’m wearing today!

Eyes: Urban Decay primer potion, Mac Brule from my lid to my brow, Mac Espresso in my crease, Mac Black Track fluid line on my upper lash line in a little wing, Mac Feline on my waterline, Fresh Super Nova mascara.
    Checks: Redhead MSF.
    Lips: Naked Space lip glass.

  14. Wow, that’s such an interesting combination! I’ve never tried red eyeshadows or blue/teal eyeliner!

My favorite look this week is MAC Woodwinked on 2/3 of my lids, Wet n’ Wild crease shade of the right column in the outer third, Urban Decay Mildew on my lower lash line, smudged out with MAC Humid (my upper lash line as well). Cargo Rome on cheeks, and a bit of Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess! I’m really digging my greens and golds!

One of my ‘go to’ looks…
MAC outre on the lid and in the crease as a transition colour as well, MAC handwritten in the crease lightly, a matte highlight and topshop saddle khol to rim the eyes and smdged underneath (a warm brown colour)
